Old Opeth is so brilliant. That atmosphere is so dreamy, beautiful and perfected.

 

I'm with you on this one. Opeth is so beautiful. Their first album up to their last is so good. I have a friend of mine that has all their albums and he had to special order most of em. Some good stuff.

 

nothing beats godhead's lament, or drapery falls... just perfect. what a rush! its heaven!

opeth, anathema, and porcupine tree... the holy trio...

 

Indeed, I can't wait until the show in March. I work for Roadrunner so I received a free ticket and some backstage passes.

I just saw them yesterday in New York City. Fucking awesome show. They played something from every album, chronologically. Yeah, I'm in love with Opeth.

The first four albums (with the exception of Still Life) are fantastic. After that they ran out of ideas and they've been pretty boring since Ghost Reveries came out. *sigh*

 

I remember being at a Opeth show and I had my ticket ,sticker and ad of them! all signed!!

Katatonia is great band as well. Have any of you tried Tiamat? There DVD Church of Tiamat is the best quality music that they put out. It has Opeths new guitarist in it.

 

Opeth is amazing. Mikael is one funny dude live.
