The Beat Hit

just like the title says- do you guys and gals smoke the beat hits?

you know, when the pipe is just about beat.. and theres that one (possibly 2) iffy hit left.. there may even be a tiny little bit of green peeking through.. but its probably gonna taste and smell nasty.. and your smoke is gonna be pretty transparent on the exhale..

we just had like a 20 min stoned conversation about this with a few people that were over here haha..

me personally, i usually don't..

i pass it or ash it if its that risky last hit or so.. but this one guy that was here swears by smoking it down to the very end.. his reasoning being why waste weed? i can see that .. but i really dont need to smoke every last bit of the pipe that i can.. i like the process of smoking, and enjoying the qualities of the MJ smoke.. not just trying to get as stoned as i possibly can..

yeah i know what you're sayin..

i will for the most part smoke the beat hit if its some really dank stuff.. cause i agree no primo weed should be wasted..

but other than that, i just hate how the half kicked hits taste like ass.. and i think at that point you've already burned all the goods outta that bud.. doesn't really even seem to get me much higher at all.

 

i smoke it down everytime.........the way i look at it, im usually stoned already by the time these "beat" hits come around so it's like, fuck it! why not?!.....

I'll smoke it till its beat street. Like Brian said, no sense in wasting anything.

 

I'm a wasteful person so usually I just sprinkle a little more on and then pooch the whole bowl in one hit.

 

if it's beat, it's beat.. i pass it just in case someone wants it

I normally save it for latter, I love smoking half bowls. I cut down on how many bowls I smoke doing that

 

I smoke the weed clear though, usually..
Sometimes I'll pass it to someone else so they get the beat hit as a joke.

The beat hit tastes like basement.. yuck

Cashed, beat, done, does the word really matter, it's like telling someone who says chronic to say dank or someone who says herb to call it weed.

Most of my friends pass on the "ass" hit, but I won't unless I'm super drunk as in that scenario tasting something so nasty might make me puke. I don't mind the ass though, I mean I enjoyed all the good hits from the bowl immensely so I don't see taking 1-2 less than stellar hits as a terrible sacrifice.

 

Personally, I will smoke it until there is no smoke. I agree I don't want to waste anything. No one likes to get a nasty hit but I think that comes with the deal of smoking weed. Nothing worse that a burn through or getting ash in your mouth but if I am smoking a bong I go for every bit of resin I can. If you have money to burn and I know I don't then I smoke it all down. If I grew my own I might be a little more extravagant and only smoke the green. Everyone likes green. I will often blow the ash out of a bowl and then do a nice resin hit from the screen or the glass. I do this to keep it clear and to get the most from my product.

I call it "the ass hit" too. lol If there's still an ass hit in the bowl, then the bowl isn't truly cashed. Milk that shit for everything it's worth:sifone:

Indeed. I always like to get a resin hit or two when the bowl is cashed. Psychoactive substances are too precious to waste, imo; especially when money is scarce.
