Living in Utrecht !

Hi guys

I know this is a dutch forum which I hope doesn't mean it's strictly dutch speaking only! My dutch is at beginner level, so excuse my english!

Next September/October I hope to begin studying in Utrecht and wanted to learn a little about the city from those who know it some bit or even those who live there?

I have been to Utrecht already and really loved it, but unfortunately I could only stay a few days and didn't have the opportunities to meet many locals or figure the place out!

I visited there last year and spent a very pleasant day there- the art museum was especially interesting. Managed to spend a whole day only conversing only in Dutch, which given I stretch to about thirty words was an achievement.

Hey =) You could always hit people up on CouchSurfing.. theres a forum and group on there which appears to be pretty active. Lot's of events planned and loads of people who will be willing to show you around etc
