You seem to have a lot of info in pediatrics. Are you a professional, or do you just read a lot. I personally used to just read a lot, but then decided to pursue a career in alternative medicines (TCM, and all it's glory). It is really all very interesting stuff, although the pre-med courses are strange with all the difference in opinion between the future western practitioners of medicine and myself. Anyhow, just wanted to say that I enjoy reading your posts. . To bad you weren't posting when I had my first child, I was the typical "rush my child to the E.R. for every little splinter" type parent. OK, not really that extreme, but you catch my drift. I have calmed down a lot with my other two. Look forward to reading more info.
I am a professional Mom LOL Often times I am asked in the Dr's office what I do because they think I may be in their field but I'm not. I just read and research because I am a mother of 3 kiddos and that's my job is to advocate and know what's up, yk? I am not about blindly trusting anyone just because they have Dr before their name Thanks for the support and I am glad you like my blog. I try my best to present the facts in an unoffensive manner so that people will be receptive to it and learn a little something their Dr will never tell them. Knowledge is power, yk?
Great blog, However I didn't see lemon juice on your remedy list! My girls have rarely been affected by ear infections, thankfully, but my INSTANT cure when it does occur is a few drops of lemon juice. I read long ago it changes the ph levels in the ear....it amazes me every time how they can be in complete AGONY and instantly totally fine after treatment And lemons are cheap and readily available to boot!
