they are so friggin awsome! I love the direct connection with the earth when barefoot! but I also love shoes! If I went barefoot here all year I'd have no toes neft! I have these camping slippers from MEC (mountain equipment co-op) and it feels like barefoot on the snow/ice! when its dry outside I wear them outside all the time! in the summer time I forget to bring shoes with me, I usually have to go somewhere that I need shoes...
Yep. Cold climate. I just do as much of the year bare as is possible and reasonable. Not into living dangerously, which some of our cold can be quite dangerous.
