Death Metal

I need some good Death Metal bands to listen, anyone have any recommendations?

Ministry and Ministry's side project was The Revolting Cocks. Early Ministry is hit or miss, they may have 8 or so albums. The best ones are Psalm 69, The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste, The Land of Rape and Honey, it's been awhile but if you check the release date go for the ones from the same time period as those 3.
The Revolting Cocks is more metal/techno fusion so expect some electronica sounds as well as face splitting metal riffs.
These bands ruined metal for me as nothing compares.

Yea animals Necrophagist kicks ass so does suffocation, Ill check out Ministry because i havent so far. Thanks guys.

I find myself listening to decapitated most of the time. They kick serious ass.

Suffocation, Carcass, Death, Possessed, Obituary, Entombed, Dying Fetus.
off the top of my head.

 

If you like obituary (as I do) then you may want to check out Satyricon. Very similar musically - slow but heavy, but with more subdued vocals.
