For fuck sake guys. I have absolutely no idea who Pat Robertson is but I do know that people are dead, dying and in desperate need of help in Haiti due to a natural phenomenon and relating that to a pact with the devil is a bit too flippant considering the current situation.
Pat Robertson is a highly influential televangelist who once ran for President of the United States and had a significant following. He said those dead, dying and desperate people in Haiti had it coming, because they made a pact with the devil. He wasn't joking, and his comment wasn't trivial because, like so many outrageous things he's said (9-11 was God's punishment for gays & lesbians; the tsunami in Asia was God's punishment on non-Christians, etc., he perverts Christianity and discourages compassion for human suffering.
