Let me start off by saying that I fully expected hell to freeze over before I'd catch myself watching anything on MTV. After all, the network wouldn't consider forty-somethings as part of its target audience. Anyways, I was watching Parental Control this morning and was quite impressed to see Bridget, a young woman who drove her boyfriend's parents nuts by going barefoot everywhere.:) She even managed to disgust his mother while she was sitting on the family couch by picking at her toes. Needless to say, after her boyfriend accommodated his parents wishes by dating women that they picked, he decided to go back to barefoot Bridget in the end.:hat:

I'd be disgusted if she picked her toes. Part of the reason I like to go barefoot is to be more sanitary!

I think Bridget is cute, natural and carefree. It would be great to have a barefooter girlfriend like her.

Going barefoot is cool but picking your feet is a bit very 'familiar' I think, I wouldn't do that at anyone else's house unless I was completely at home there. Wouldn't pick *any* body part in front of my bf's family when just getting to know them, really. Has nothing to do with feet in particular, but with overall manners.

Yeah I agree, some of her behavior was annoying, but the barefoot part rocks.

Stupid show. Frankly, if I was in Bridget's lack of shoes, I'd take my money and walk out five minutes after the cameras stopped rolling. What kind of a guy would go for this sort of a show anyway?

Unless it was completely staged of course, which is the case with most "reality" shows anyway...

Anyhow I'm happy the barefoot girl got picked at the end. Notice how both "parent picks" had closed-toed shoes on? Bleh.

    Amanda though, DAAAAY-M, I'd hit that ;)

parental control is one of the worst shows I've ever seen. It would be cool if it were real characters, but every last bit of it is scripted.

I saw it as a sign of bad nerves, sort of like wringing your hands or cracking your knuckles, only much grosser than either. But hey, nobody's perfect, right?

I think all of those people were as annoying as anyone could be. Talk about spoiled rotten...what kind of person would talk like Bridgit did in front of the guy's parents. And what kind of parent indulges his son the way these two bimbos did. They all deserve each other. Having said that, I loved Bridget's barefootedness and would have picked her without a doubt. She was a total barefoot turn on and probably not nearly as annoying as she was being paid to be.

They all agreed to be on that show, so don't feel too bad. At least she got her "15 minutes" and looked good. This may allow her to move on to a more appreciative family. Feel sorry for him.
