i know we're all scattered out all over the world so we cant rly gather to hav a sit-in/love-in but have you guys ever thought to just go out one day and just perform random acts of love all over the world wherever you live? pass out flowers and balloons to strangers. give someone a hug. smile at someone. spread the love!

flowers, balloons and hugs, man. thats what this world needs. its up to us to bring love back into the world before it vanishes alltogether. so next time you see someone who's looking down, go up to them and hug them! if you wana go buy some flowers to pass out to people, do it! pass out balloons? why not! try it, man! it feels good to spread the prophecy of love.

If I was 'feeling down' and some random guy came up and hugged me, I'd be pissed. Maybe you should rethink that idea.

This is such a beautiful idea. I remember I had a balloon once and this little girl was like look mommy and she was smiling so I gave it to her. And her mom just smiled and said thank you and I walked off :) it felt so good to do something nice for someone to know I made someone happy.

it does feel good! last summer me and my friends passed out daisies downtown and you coud tell it really lightened everyones mood. we were even offered to go on the news but we were all underage so we couldnt sign the waver thingy ha. but i was just glad to do it. i think if we all did it the world would be a happier place. free hugs, free balloons, free flowers, free love.... :D

As a student I used to go out with a group of people and give Free Hugs! We had signs and t-shirts and it makes people feel good and puts a smile on their face.

honestly, this would probably get your ass kicked. or make you look like an idiot if peopl asked why you were doing it, and then had no reply other than "im just preforming random acts of love"

No. You would get your arse kicked and look like an idiot if you hit someone and stated that is was just a random act of hatred.

From experience, it always makes my day better when I get served by a friendly, happy person. Or someone says hello, holds a door open or smiles. It reminds me that there are good people in the world, and sometimes you need a little reminder.

    way better idea.

but on a serious note, where im from, its not a good idea. im not knocking it, im just saying dont do it in a red state.

actually, now that i think about it this is a great idea. i can imagine how many laughs i would get out of uptight peoples reaction.

I think to some extent this is a good idea- like TipsyGypsy said, it's always nice to be served by cheerful people, and it feels great to do the same for others. The free hugs t-shirts idea isn't half bad either- just don't go around violating people who need their personal space. xD

Of course. I have never jumped on someone, or stalked them until they gave in and hugged me :D

Is it one of those barely touching hugs, or a tight squeeze?
