Why is knowledge evil ?

why is knowledge affiliated with evil ?

knowledge is sometimes reffered to as the light or enlightenment of the world, something to strive for, but it is ussually alligned with evil.

for example, the story of adam and eve, satan tricked them into eating from the tree of knowledge.

Lucifer was also formerly the angel of light, so to me its seems like a contradiction.

can anyone help me clear this up?

Are you a Christian? If you are there is no reason to be abusive and if not you are not suppose to be in Sanctuary, please leave, you are getting in the way.

 

Sanctuary posts show up on the main board, as such, they are open to having anyone respond to them.

As for the rest of this, how is pointing out that someone is spamming the boards with the same post over and over, being abusive?

 

Perhaps you should read the guidelines for Sanctuary.

The person is fairly new, perhaps if you had just pointed out how what he is doing looks to others, instead of just accusing him of spamming, that would be some what less abusive.

It is not knowledge that it is against.
If you read, the tree was the knowledge of good and evil. Some would call this duality.

Not the tree of knowledge. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

I believe the scripture to be specific for a reason. Man is to understand he swallowed the seed that created the entire paradigm, duality.

 

So duality came about because man ate from the tree of of knowledge of good and evil, and not because god created man and woman?

I think you may be confused about the time line of your book.. perhaps you should re-examine which happened first according to it...

 

Is your duality measure of the actions we've performed and the quality that the inanely Good Man has for living livably? Why do we have a body?

I think you may be confused about the concept of duality and subscribe too much belief that man and woman are somehow different ends of a spectrum when in truth man and woman are both representative of the SAME sacred energy and not of a dualing or dualistic nature.

So at least we're both confused, right?
