I go to an out of state pain clinie. Two of my friends and I travel together and I was wondering if I have a prescription can I get in trouble if pulled over since I have three scripts in the car. Also, can they just pull me over for having out of state tags?

The cops are not going to pull you over just for having out of state plates. Why would they? Likewise, If you have prescription meds in properly labeled bottles, there's no way you can get in trouble for it. Are you paranoid?

I know this is becoming harder and harder to realize but you live in America, you are free to go where you want without being harassed for no reason

    1. To be legally pulled over by any LEO, they must be stopping you for a traffic violation or the like. They cannot choose to pull you over just because you drove out of a business. Cops try to pull people over when they leave drug houses and the only reason they get away with this is because 99% of the time they find drugs. Ask why you were stopped if you know you did not violate any traffic laws and remain firm in your refusal for the officer to search the car.
    2. If you are carrying a prescription in the correctly labeled bottle there is not shit they can do to you. If they think the doctor writing the scripts is crooked then they need to have his license revoked, not harass patients.

I have no idea what you are so paranoid about.

Can you imagine state cops pulling people over on an interstate just for having out of state plates? You'd see nothing but flashing red and blue lights from state line to state line. :D

It's not illegal to have them if you have a script... IDK why you are worried. And cops can't pull you over if you are not doing anything wrong..

I think you need a script for some chill pills.
