I'm a widowed 61 year old mountain hippie. I live in my self-built hippie home (all recycled, and was awarded a Mother Earth News owner-built home award in 1986) by a year-round trout stream in a subalpine meadow in NW Montana (near Thompson Falls). I have my own pond for skinny dipping. I am a serious peak-oil survivalist and am fully prepared for the inevitable collapse of petro-industrial "civilization". I also fully grasp the dire implications of Anthropogenic Climate Change. I have an up-and-running forest garden permaculture homestead (see: Edible Forest Gardens dotcom). I usually hang out at Peak Oil dotcom. (as oowolf) where I am an "Expert" on the subject; also LifeAftertheOilCrash, OilDrum, and Malthusia. I'm an uberdoomer/homesteader/genuine back to the lander since 1972/mountain man/hippie stoner...and I'm somewhat into Pagan BDSM. I'm into entheogens and can identify over 200 species of local edible/medicinal plants. I enjoy not only hippie music (such as Mark LeVine), but also classic country, blues and jaZZ of the 1920-30's, western classical, and grand opera, especially Puccini. I haven't owned or operated an ICE-powered vehicle since May 1997. I've never owned a telephone, and my only internet connection is at the local library--I do have an email account at hotmail, though. I'm an INTJ on the Myers-Briggs. IQ in top 2% and VERY non-comformist. VietNam veteran and member of War Resister's League. Have been busted 4 times for antiwar activities, but never convicted of a crime (all cases dismissed). I'm here mainly because I'm looking for a hippie chick companion for LTR. Looking for someone who wants to "get away from it all", "get back to nature", etc,--you know what I mean. I'm serious.
