Nobody is innocent! At least that's one way of looking at it...another way to look at it is: We're all innocent! I mean, who dealt this mess, anyway? But the thing is, it's when life is a bitch that we get shaken loose from our complacency and start really thinking, really seeing more under the surface of things. The hell of it is that life isn't really about getting nice stuff and having things go according to plan. Life is actually more about getting shat on. But it's not just shit for nothing; it's shit for a purpose. It makes us stronger and smarter. I know that's not much comfort. It's not much comfort for me either - in fact I frequently get pissed about it. But that's just the way it is. The real hell of it is that after you go through a whole lot of hell, you actually begin to miss it a little when it subsides. Go figure.

if you don't want "bad luck" don't introduce volitility into the system - reduce the harm that you do, the more harm you do the worse it will get for you. try to plan if you want to succeed don't keep the company of fools warn people when they are in danger, unless they happen to be a bad person which in that case stand back and "let the ball roll" - bad people have the habit of beingtheir own undoing. learn new things try to be a positive force in the world
