trying to find a book..help

    digg this, im looking for a book like an adventure, about someone just traveling the land, just like an adventure, not on the road by keruac though ive read that, but i want like a good story about someone living in the forrest or something, just a far out adventure. any suggestions please?

    Siddhartha -- if you haven't read it and want a story about someone "traveling the wood, recognizing the land, learning about his or her existance, siddhartha is a must-read. get it? read it? good.J.

    "Travels With Charlie", by Steinbeck. He goes on the road in America with his dog, and tells a great story.

    You might enjoy,"Innocents Abroad", by Mark Twain. I never got through the whole book, but you might want to check it out.

    Peter Jenkens.
    Aside from a conversion, it's an awesome, real tale.

    greatest works of ART ever!!!! i have watched into the wild Numberous times, while reading the book just as much.

    Not really a 1st hand account...

    But my votes on this one too. The book was very enjoyable indeed. Good call.

    BRILLIANT book. The movie is wonderful, as well. (Killer soundtrack, too)

    I loved that movie, I'll gave to go rent the book. I've read everything i own and have been looking for something good and different.
