My husband doesn't think my son should breastfeed into this year because he thinks my son will remember it? Like even if he does it will fuck him up or something?

I think I stopped nursing at....3? 4? I know it's when my sister was born, I remember having to stop, and being pissed at my sister for taking my teat-suckling spot.

So... your kid could remember it, but I'm pretty sure it didn't fuck me up, I haven't thought of it in like.... literally 10 years, until you brought it to the forefront of my mind :p I mean it's not like theres anything sexual or anything, your mind doesn't even work like that at that point... you're just eating.... People gotta eat, right?

ive heard of a mother in australia who breastfed till he was 8 y/o.

food cost moola. breast milk is free. seriously, i'd breastfeed as long as possible. who cares what others think.

but i really dont have a pair of breast or a baby to feed so i guess my input on this subject is invalid.

    I heard this too.

You often find in Australia that older babies/toddlers are fed Wombat milk as it is 40% more beneficial the regular mummy tit milk.

i hope op doesnt hate me for hijackin this thread and makin it about num nums and breast feeding...
    but...
check out my daughters latest cause...her and her friends are hard core moms...they have some friends with a 1 yr old girl...the couple break up.....it gets nasty and goes to court..she asks for drug testing besause daddy is a pot head...in retaliation..his more expensive lawyer[rich family] is now asking that mom[poor family, shit lawyer] must STOP breast feeding as it is making his overnights too difficult because of the stress on the baby not having booby...now the ''moms'' are on a warpath lookin for buddy..the leleche league is getting involved....and so far the court is on his side

That sounds like a terrible situation for everyone. Poor little kiddo getting stuck in the middle. :(

That's just sad :( Unfortunately breastfeeding seems to be an issue in custody agreements more and more these days. So does homeschooling - I don't get it.

On a lighter note - here's a healthy boob tick
