you are right. He wasnt a hippie at all, and he mighta disrespected his woman, but he truelly opposed all authority, the man, babylon, much like myself.
Without war Hitler would have killed all the Jews in his domain, without tribal fighting we would have been driven extinct by the Neanderthals, without war Saddam Hussein and his psychopathic family would be finishing there attempted genocide on the Kurds. You need to pick and choose your wars and not speak in simple minded pseudo platitudes that express nothing but your ignorance. Just my opinion of course.
and you complain that muslims have no respect for anyone else? oh and i don't think war is 'evil'per say...but i don't agree with war either...
So your argument is "Without war we'd just have slaughter" Thats pretty comical, but I think you're missing something. Without war, humanity must not exist.
Slaughter for some fasism for the rest. Oh yes, and what is that? It's as though you pulled that last statement from a fortune cookie written by a severe dyslexic, seriously was intended to be white noise or do you have a point you were trying to get at?
And you said without war we'd just have 1 group of people slaughtering another. You missed the point entirely, not that it was a half-intelligent point to begin with. "If there wasn't war than one set of people would just kill a whiole nother set cause if they fought back that would be war." That's just a stupid and pointless thing to say. And fasism? I can't argue with that. Are you satisfied now with my derailing of your pseudo-intellectualism? My point is that these things are an integrated part of the human condition. War and smaller scale versions of war are inevitable. Its a waste of time to think otherwise. The only hope for redemption rests in the hands of the individual to do his small and inglorious part to add at least some light into the lives of his friends and neighbors. You watch the news and you see a hundred stories of people doing harm to one another. But as soon as a person does good, they are elevated to the stance of "hero" You know why? Because if you call someone a hero for simply doing the right thing every once in a while, it makes it okay for you to live selfishly. We can't all be 'heros' after all.
Uh, no I didn't When did I saay this? In what way I'm wondering? Who ays you derailed anything, who say's I'm intellectual psuedo or otherwise, aand who makes you the judge? I agree, I'm beginning to believe that you misread my original post or have me mistaken for someone else. I would consider the person cures AIDS a hero, the guy who rescued someones cat from a tree, a good Samaritan, unless he was a firefighter in case I would say he's just doing his job. Seriously I'm confused, do you think I'm a pacifist?
There is where you said it. And as you have nothing substantial to say, I'll take my leave of this asinine argument.
you really felt the need to drag up a thread that hasn't been posted in for over a month just to ask a completely meaningless question to someone who's clearly banned?
