Gardening in public places without permission.

    To quote Wikipedia
'Guerrilla gardening is political gardening, a form of direct action, primarily practiced by environmentalists'

I have done it, it was hardcore. It was about a mile barge uphill through the woods and I took about 15 gallons of water up there every day. It took endurance. My friends brought up about 1/10 as much as I did, which is why I had the hugest most glorious plants.

My friends were fuckin retarded and used white greenhouses for their plants, which is why the cops raided us I think. So yeah do not plant them in a pattern or anything that looks artificial, any plastic at all even a tiny little peice can be seen by the helicopters when light reflects off it.
Make sure you only have ONE path and try to make the path hidden whatever it is, it would be best if you have a trail on stone or gravel, because you can't see the path that you would make, but if it's like on leaves then every single time you go to your spot you need to cover up your path by sweeping leaves back over what you walked over to keep it looking natural.
Observe the sun pattern, and get an idea of how much sun you will be getting for your plants. (more direct sunlight the better) so choose where to plant them wisely.
Make a natural looking fence/gate. I used little trees that we cut down and fish wire. Do not make the fence posts in a "square" or triangle shape. Post the fence so it doesn't look like a fence.
Good luck with your adventure :)

I think it's about planting everything from herbs to trees in a public urban surrounding.

If there is room for it, plant a tree in front of your house. The concept implies to not ask for permission (but you may want to ask the tree).

At some time, I picked up acorns and beechnuts, grew them in pots and transplanted them whenever they seemed strong enough to survive. You may want to start with a handful of chestnuts as well, a pocket full of onion seeds or a mix of seasonal flowers ... just make sure they are genuine from your region.

It's like when you walk through the streets of a big (clean) city framed by artificial facades, you don't get to see many natural things (= made by nature) besides the faces of your fellow humans ... maybe dogshit ... and the sky.

So ... just give flower power a new meaning

o.k. I must be missing something, cause I don't get it.
ya plant a garden in a public place....WHY? how is this "direct action".
Don't the autorities just tear the garden up?does anyone benefit? if so,how?
I'm not against it,I am just trying to understand why one would do this.
I googled it and found that people plant these gardens to beautify an area,so why would ya have to sneek to do this the authorities would probably encourage this.
    I understand political theater,guerilla warfare,direct political action
Anyhow, I simply don't get it, could someone explain this to an old one.
Who knows,if I understood it I may want to do it.

I wouldn't do it in the middles of a national park or anything, I just had some empty forest to explore and if you find a little spot that nobody goes at all you can get away with it. Or, you could just get a medical card and grow on your property, but guerilla growing is an adventure.
