I have been listening to Radiohead for awhile now, and their album "In Rainbows" has caught my attention. does anyone know if this album is good on acid?
pretty much any music will blow your mind on acid it's better listening to songs you've never heard before, or genres you aren't familiar with, in my opinion at least
i must admit, i'm not much of a drug user, i smoke weed about once a week but it is hard to get anything besides that around here. in the summer shrooms are easy to get, but every drug is easier to get in the summer. anyhoo, i found many of the album's songs to be euphoric, and the thought interested me about doing acid while listening to it.
its also like watching something funny when your stoned. it has to be something you've never seen before, like a new robot chicken episode...lol.
i agree completely with this. the best songs i've heard on acid were songs i was listening to for the first time. i heard animal collective's "merriweather post pavilion" for the first time while peaking on good acid, it was incredibly amazing.
Well. Now that I think about it.... All music will blow your mind, but some music will blow your mind way more than others lol. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7E-RTI-H2oI"]YouTube- Vivaldi - Concerto for Two Violins in A Minor RV522 I dare you to listen to that on acid and not cry.
listen to this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3DrL8pwu1k i mean, tell me this wouldn't be fuckin great while trippin.
That was a very beautiful and moving song!! I am adding that to my favorites so I can listen to it on psychedelics next. I listen to alot of drum and bass on psyches, and in general lately.
In rainbows is good enough to blow your mind stoned imo. Tripping on acid you'll probably be in rainbows. Although classical is fucking heavenly when tripping
i wouldn't like Radiohead on acid at all. it's too hard and clangy without it sounding definitely intentional in an artwork way. i like abstract curious music so its kinda boring imo. 15 Steps is the best one of the In Rainbows album.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2ztWvuyXeU this is awesome trippy music, how could you not like it? everything is very intentional with radiohead, let me remind you.
Can someone recomend me a good classical CD to get? I downloaded mozart's Requiem in D-minor and tried listening to that very late in... too late, and it just sounded very overwhelming, so many sounds at once etc. Probably woulda been good at t=1.5-5... Also i wasn't expecting singing in it. Try this cd again or another recomendation...?
