So I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'll try it anyway haha. Well, I'm very bicurious. Whenever my best girl friend and I get drunk, we always end up kissing and making out. Once, she and I and my boyfriend even talking about having a threesome together (I was tipsy then, she wasn't.) She's straight, but I'm thinking she's a little bicurious too. She's also always making jokes along the line of, "you're so hot girl, I'd do you!" So, basically I'm wondering if this sounds like it could be a good hookup or if I'm looking too much into it. Could there be sparks? =)
Many a truth is said in jest. It sounds to me like your friend is on the same fishing expedition you are. Kidding around is usually a good way to judge how the other person feels about something, so when she tells you "you're so hot, etc", I believe she is putting out the fishing line to see if you bite on it. We guys do the same thing all the time when approaching women...joking about something to see if she picks up on it. It's a safe way to let your feelings be known without being too blunt and suffering the embarassment of rejection. My vote would be to respond with a similar comment, complimenting her as well, then see where the conversation goes from there. (This was written hastily so I hope the essence comes through).
thedawg: Thanks a lot for the response. I thought the same thing, but wasn't sure if she was kidding or not. Because she's also made opposite remarks. But if she throws the line out again, I guess I'll just have to take the bait and see where it goes.
Perhaps something like..."I think you're hot too", then come up with something clever to add to that. Since I am male, I can't think like a woman. I want to wish you the best of luck in this endeavor - you are young enough to try new things without long term consequences. And, if it works out well, your life will be greatly enhanced. By the way, you seem like a very cool person.
