Who the hell doesn't want to go back to when they didn't crave cigarettes? It's like you want to be addicted to them

And where the fuck did I say that? I said it'd be nice to go back to having one or two a day and no more. I have no qualms with being a smoker, but where the fuck did I say I like being addicted? Huh? Where do you see that?

I had started smoking when I was sixteen and it took me 10 years to quit. I had see p eople die from smoking related causes One of them was a close friend of mine . who had died from lung cancer. he smoked 2 packets per day. For the sake of your health just don't do it

I'm not smoking two packs per day, or anything close to it. I don't feel the need to quit now, especially when I'm not excessively smoking.

You're missing the point no one starts off at 2 packs or addicted, you work your way up to it.

    Look
If you believe running in the rain causes sickness then you might get it when doing so for example.
Do you honestly believe in the crap you hear?
If you are scared of nicotine then i recommend you stop eating potatoes and tomatoes because they hold lots more nicotine than in a mere cigarette. Smoking and alcahol(not that it's based on the alcahol) has been around for many millenia and i don't think they gave a damn about what 'could' happen to you.
Its all in the mind, if you feel alot of pain from a little fall, its all in your mind my friend. The mind is a very strong power.
Use it to your will. Bend it and believe crap or customize it to the pattern you want it.

Not me, there's a reason I only buy one pack. When I have my money, I could easily go out and buy three or four packs of smokes, but I don't. I buy one, and make them last two to three days. I'll likely never smoke two packs a day because as it is I'm trying to keep myself from going overboard with smoking. A few months ago I was smoking at least 10-30 cigs a day, and now I'm at maybe 2-6 a day, and unless I'm buying my own, I try to keep it that way.

    Urgh this old cat.

    Patches, hypnotism blah blah blah.

Try everyone if you want but at the end of the day it comes down to will.

Yeah great move starting smoking -NOT!!
I smoked for 15 years and giving that shit up was the hardest thing I ever did hence the reason I will never ever do it again. Im 13 years clean and still going strong :) It really is the most revolting habit.
Sometimes when I see a good looking young girl or guy and then they light up I think to myself "I thought you were beautiful but now I think yuck you is ugly"
The worse part is when people chuck their hideous butts on the street which gets washed down the gutter and out to the ocean where marine life eat them thinking its food then their digestive system cant handle them and gets clogged up and they die. Like I dont care a damn if people want to destroy their own lives but please dont take out innocent animals with you on your way down.

It amazes me so many people are self destructive and smoke. Its like they don't want to live very long. How are cigarettes legal but suicide isn't?

You can't tax a person to jump off a bridge, it wouldn't be very moral.

I smoke, have done for a while. I hate it and wish I would stop. In fact I only ever smoke when I drink, but the flood gates are open at that point. If anyone has the chance to quit, just quit. Don't think about any other possible outcome then to just be fresh and healthy, with money in the bank.

Yeah, if you're not already addicted, do whatever it takes to avoid it. I'm 21 now and I've been at it since I was 18. I can't stand being a smoker. I think about quitting every day and I've only recently started really trying to quit, but I've been very unsuccessful so far:( I've been all over the internet looking for tips and advice, but nothing works, in the end it really does come down to will.

For me, it's extra difficult as I have 3 roommates that are pack-a-day smokers too...and they smoke the same brand. So not only are cigarettes constantly lying around available, but seeing them smoke and smelling their cigarettes always gets the better of me. Not putting the blame on anyone else, just sayin it doesn't help lol. I actually get pretty disappointed with myself over it.

I don't know if I'll ever be able to quit in my current environment, but I don't have any other options so I'm just gonna have to buckle down and keep trying I guess:/

I smoked cigarettes since I was 13, and I have to tell you, now that I am in my mid twenties and haven't smoked habitually in a while, I feel so much better. OCCASIONALLY maybe one on the boat with some buddies and beer, but very rarely. Don't start! you are too new to it to keep going. cigars are much better. just chew on a toothpick or something... :)

    Bullshit.

If that where true, there would be no niccorette, you could eat tomatoes. They're all nightshades, they do NOT all make the exact same chemicals in the same amounts. Oh also you'd die really fast if they had a whole lot more nicotine than a cig and you ate say 2 potatoes. So don't make shit up.
