It must be simple

Yeah yeah I know there are allot of thees threads around about the meaning of life kind well they and this documentary made me think so I cant help myself but to create my own.


So what is the purpose of life the iconic question?


You see I think from the very get go we are thinking incorrectly about the whole thing we are thinking about the present time line what is my life's purpose sorta thing. You I we all live different life's there for we all have different answers. Ok so what does this mean dose it mean that some of us are right and some of us are wrong? No it means that we are not looking at the big picture the meaning of life haves to apply to all of us not only that it haves to apply to all life forms in all of the universe. But life as we know it haves only existed for what 3.7 billion years, wait the universe it self haves existed for 13.7 billion years surely then asking a life form what is the meaning of life would not be the answer to the big picture it would be the right answer to whom ever u posed the question but not to all there is only to there own life. The thru question we should be asking what is the meaning of existence.


To find the answer we have to go back to the very beginning now I don't know what to tell u but this that from the very start of existence only one thing holds thru turning nothing in to something the very meaning of time a measurement of the processes that turns nothingness in to something simplicity converted in to complexity this is the bases of all reality and the DNI of the universe so called evolution there is no need for intelligent designer nor creator its simple randomness that unavoidably over time leads to something the very meaning of existence.


This applies to everything take the start of our universe what we need is absolute nothingness this is called (false vacuum) this vacuum have repulsive gravitational field it pushes away rather then pulls. This very strong force grows a stupendously huge universe within a fraction of a second but unlike gas which thins out as it spreads in space. The false vacuum remains uniform as it fills the space. What this means as the false vacuum spreads, its density remains constant this creates energy the more space it fills the more energy there is created and we all know energy = matter. As this energy becomes plasma of particles simplicity becomes complexity it cools down inuf to produce simple atoms in turn atoms makes galaxy's stars and planets.


Finally life haves a chance to arise again its stars simply well there are many hypotheses how exactly it all happened but no body is quate sure. Basically inanimate matter slowly but surely arrange itself in to ever more complex structures aided by chaos and then evolution end result in the current time is us humans the ones that just cant stand that the process of reincarnation does not allow us to remember our past life's question is how far in to the past could we possibly remember when dose the soul come in to the mix of life formation if ever ?


So what is the meaning I don't know does a virus have a meaning because matter and life is nothing but the virus of nothingness just like in physical world on earth viruses are the engine of diversity that drives genes among species so are we, we are the means of this universe to introduce diversity there for complexity in to its different parts allowing it to grow not only that we infect the nothingness with higher levels or more complicated forms of reality's with each passing day.


For instance every child that is born will create hes own unique universe within hes/hers mind every virtual game will create its own world every piece of information if its a painting or a poem... all create more of this universe and help it to grow.


All I know if there is an answer to the purpose it has to be inherently simple which in turn will be dissatisfieng to know maybe after all we are better of not knowing it and creating are own individually catered purposes for us by us.

I enjoyed that last sentence "...if there is an answer...it must be inherently simple which will be dissatisfying to know...". It makes me imagine a bunch of people discovering the truth, shaking their heads in dismay, and continuing to search as if the truth must really be something else.

I think that life is essentially meaningless, and absurd, and so the purpose of life is to create a purpose worth living for, which also seems to be hinted at in the last sentence of the original post.

 

Yup u know I think that every person deep inside knows that its essentially meaningless.
I mean life is existence and by definition existence means fact of being only thing is we are to smart for our own good and we tose and turn thinking there must be more to this well I guess the silver lining is having consciousness wails being which gives us a chose in what we want to belief in or do in our life time.

 

Everything is ultimately meaningless. The point is to take this and use it to become our own gods. The power of chaos and order is in our hands.

But the thing I find fascinating about theology, is the extraction of meaning through that order and chaos and how to use that information to better understand ourselves, reality, how to create and what we should create and not create, and how to interact with our relationship towards others including other life forms.

 

Existence certainly begs the question. Why is existence like this? Well it happened that way.

Why are we here? Our births were the result of a non-volitional casual chain that has gone on since the beginning of time. What should we do? Seek "the good" I suppose. What's that? Currently for me it's drinking tea, listening to psy-trance and posting this. Why is that my "good"? I happen to enjoy those things. Why's that? The tea tastes good and triggers endorphins in my brain, as does the music. I also happen to enjoy thinking and writing, probably an intrinsic evolutionary tendency to seek understanding.

So I suppose we have the ability to feel pleasure and happiness and have a lot of dispositions and biases towards our ideal methods of obtaining it. Some biological and some cultural. The cultural ultimately borne of genetic evolutionary survivalistic and reproductive behaviors and drives. All of it is there if we wish to exploit it. It's that or to cease existing.

I choose tea and psy-trance.

 

Yeah man purpose of existing is simple. Purpose of life there for is reproduction after all if we don't have kids there will be no one to ponder what is the purpose. And individual purpose well tea and psy-trance sounds good or whatever is on the menu u know it depends on the individual tastes.

 

Purpose for all is to be. Knowledge is, being shared.

 

The universe and it's cycles are in constant flux. Things in space cause space to be, both do not have any independent existence of themselves, none allows for one which allows for two and so on. Existence in itself is empty. Purpose is often sought in a life that is perceived purposeless. Pick what you value and live for it, or spend your life asking questions that have no real answers.

 

the diversity of reality and the reality of diversity is unmoved by the emotional appeal to humans of simplicity.
