Hey, just wanting some advice from all the mamma's out there. My partner and I have been talking about having children seriously for approx. 2years. A mother is what I want to be and I have always dreamed of having children. I want to have them so bad that I am terrified. We keep saying yes we should have them and then I start with these 'what if's'. What if he loses his job, maybe we should pay off our debt before we have children etc. I just want to be a responsible parent. I thought of all theses ways to be environmentally friendly and do things that take time not money like reusable diapers, growing food, breastfeeding etc. I just need some advice , having a child is such a big decision and I want to have a family more than anything, I just want it to go well and I want to do it well. Maybe Im crazy but any advice would be fantastic
I agree with mamamojo, find out as much as you can ABOUT getting pregnant, being pregnant and having little ones, find out all you can about breastfeeding and the types of food you'll feed your children, what way you want to give birth etc etc... then once hou've got half a handle on it, throw out those condoms... If you'rte still on birth control, stop taking them and start using just condoms, because you'll want to regulate your body's natural cycle so that you're more familliar with your dates of ovulation etc... I've felt the same way for years, I have a calling in life, and that's to be the best momma there ever was, Myself and my partner are currently trying, threw the condoms out last month (well, gave them to our friends haha.) I can't wait to get pregnant and to have children, now that I know what I know about it and know how i want to do it, I can be alot more confidant once I get pregnant and throughout my pregnancy, delivery and all the years to come of raising my children. Good luck! Don't get frustrated if you don't get pregnant right away... just relax and have fun and it'll happen when it happens!

My partner and I decided to start trying....., I am very excited and a little scared at the same time, its a huge responsiblility and I just want to be able to do the best I can. So thanks again.
