It looks like i'm gonna be in Wyoming for another year. Figured I'd see if there are any other Non-cowboy, Non-oilfield trash, Non-super right winger kind of people up here to relate to. If there is, hit me up with an PM.

I'm moving to western Wyoming to be with my girl who is a native of Jackson. I can't wait to get the hell out of the midwest which is seemingly even more right wing than the west could ever be...maybe I'm wrong. Oh well, can't beat the scenery anyway. I'll be just in time to miss the Gathering which is being held about 10 minutes from where I will be living in Teton County....damnit! In July I start my job there.
What part of this vast windy state do you live in?

Hell, there's plenty 'like-minded' folk in Wyoming. It just depends on what city/town you're in. I've actually been quite surprised as to how many 'hippies' I've found in this state and the pot smokin' rednecks can be fun to hang out with too... you just have to ignore some of their views. ;)

if you hippies had any feelings for wyoming

you would stay on after your party is over

do not be afraid of wyoming

[or eastern montana, or north/south dakota, or nebraska]

btw it is really cheap to live here and thus easier to get away from the capitalist machine you all complain about from inside your 1000-a-month apartments and quarter-million-dollar houses in california

[my wife and i are living on around 600 a month for rent-food-utilities in montana, land of the nearly capital-free]

    afraid of a little winter?
