Yeah porn addiction is real for some people. If it's a "need" for any kind of sexual satisfaction, if ya spend hours at a time looking for the right scene, if porn is more important than the real thing...yeah then its a problem. Google porn addiction and you'll find tons of stuff. Good Luck.
There are lots of porn addicts out there. People dont understand its just as serious as drug addiction, just without the "junkie" side effects. If you want help, you wont have any problem finding a facility or program to take part in.
I dont like porn, it bores me. It all so plastic and unreal looking and the women are usually objectified. A lot of porn images are really disgusting and just make me think "omg people are turned on by that".

Yeah, I am ABSOLUTELY ADDICTED to PORN!!. I too have wondered if it was something that I should feel bad about, or if in fact it were curable. I've done the research, read the testimonials, and have even seen a shrink (well not about my porn addiction but it came up while we were discussing addictive personalities). All that I can say is - I am still addicted to porn. I think anything short of a lobotomy or castration would fail to stop me from seeking out, looking at, downloading, reading about, writing about or re-enacting my porn fantasies. My shrink said that (while not talking directly about porn), many of my addictions are closely intertwined with and sympathetic to my other addictions, compulsions and disorders. For example; the need to have a smoke while drinking heightens the pleasure I get from both. The same, I believe could be said for having sex while watching porn, one addiction enhances the other. Anyways, do you feel it is a problem? are the Christ - fear mongers making you feel bad?
Trying to repress your sexuality will just make you even more addicted to the shit. Might aswell just try the basic options a) relax and not look at so much porn b) accept the fact that you're another dude who has nothing better than to jerk 7 times a day Nothin wrong man lol

The flip side is that there is a moray, a social archetype that says to be sexual is bad. ask yourself: * do I neglect daily activities to survive in order to find porn? * do I act out in ways that puts me in harm's way to fulfill my porn needs? * have I suffered a serious financial, physical, or emotional loss, because finding porn was more important? I have a wonderful family, great kids, decent job, life is, overall, very good. I have (2) sister's in-law who constantly claim to my wife I am "internet addicted" implying porn. Well my job is internet based so yes I am online 8-10+ hours a day. its all perception... but only YOUR own honesty can decipher if you are addicted. R.
