Yea, also, just make sure your not expecting effects to be something like weed, acid, mushies... The one thing I think really supprised me the most about mdma is probably how "normal" you feel. My first time doing a decent dose of m, I probably would have thought it didn't work on me... if it wasn't for the incredibly mind blowing things I was telling my wife at the time... I ended up telling her everything I never thought I would ever share with a human being... It was easy, it was joy, but I was normal. If I was alone, I don't think I would have had as much fun.
