I cannot wait for that sun to come out. It came out yesterday and it was shinning through-out in my room and it was so pretty, I woke up in a happy mood, now its just a cold gloomy snowy day But all to make me even more excited about summer! My moods and vibes change in the winter. I slow down a lot, become stressed out, moody. Not sure why but Im sure it happens to a lot of people Ahh summer brings out the best in me. Anyone else looking forward to diggin' it? lulu
Here's a clue - YOU LIVE IN CHICAGO! I lived my first 18 years in St. Louis - about the same as Chicago and you see where I am today. Actually, this place is summer compared to yours but today it was about 5 degrees too cold at 60 and the wind about 15 mph too fast to go to the beach. Damn, frustrating because it was cloudless and sunny all day. I need to work on my tan or I will start looking like, --- like, somebody from Chicago.
LOL I love chicago, dont get me wrong, I dont mind the cold but its frustrating to just not hang outside or do anything without freezing your ass off. Guess im getting tired of it I would do ANYTHING for 60 degree weather right now!! lmao rettyplease:
A friend of mine always goes on a sun holiday in December to get away from winter depression. I look fwd to the temperature increase, but it mainy rains here during summer. Not a lot of really hot days
yeah i always seem to be more dull during winter. i can't wait till i can go outside comfortably without having to put on a shit load of clothes and just for summer in general.
Winter can be depressing sometimes... especially because Calgary is right next to the damned mountains, which makes the winters pretty shitty. I love the summer here though. Perfect weather every summer day.
Living in Minnesota, as I do, you'd think that I had at least some appreciation for winter. Nothing could be further from the truth. Winter is something that I tolerate, so that I can live here in the summer. I begin to get itchy for the return of summer, long about the autumnal equinox. If there were a place that was like Minnesota, but summer all year 'round, I'd be living there. I'm sure I'll become a snowbird when I retire. Oh, and I love the ocean... so, of course, I live in the place that is geographically about as far as you can get from one. Go figure.
Summer cant come soon enough for me! Although the only difference between our summers and winters is the time the sun fucks off Still going to be cold and raining all year anyway
I dont know about you, but I am freezing my arse off here in Longford. Thank God for the good ol' Super Ser.
This has been too long a winter ... even for me, but there are snowdrops in my garden so there is the promise of Spring.
Spring is going to be nice because summer follows suit.Iam hoping to find a job until august and then i figure wether i go to trade school or college. If i go to trade school, ill learn a trade, save up for a year and then move to europe and live there for awhile. If i i go to college i stay here. lol. Iam thinking trade because the ability to trave really makes me feel alright. The weather wouldnt bother me if i had my own apartment in europe. As for now though iam just sailing through.
How can you love Chicago??? lol. My memory of it is not being able to breath. I felt like i was on another planet. No trees, no life besides human and machine. It scared the shit out of me. Anyways, summer is amazing. But we should also love winter for all it has to offer. Birth, death, rebirth. The circle of life.
