I keep having these crazy ass dreams that involve a lover from my past. In my dreams I am in familiar places like on the light rail or in my house. But in these dreams everything is distorted. My house is my house but things in it are different. my room has different dimensions, the backyard is completley turned around and some weird guy is always trying to get into the front of my house. when i am on the light rail there is never anyplace to sit even though it isnt full. I always seem to know where i am going but i get off on the wrong stop. once i get back to my house i go into the seven eleven across from my current house which is weird cause the seven eleven is across from my old house which is never in this dream and i meet my old boyfriend who was a real dick. in the dream i am always trying to get away from him but he keeps following me. when i go into my house he is there, and then i leave and either i go into a giant football arena or into a crowded street and he disappears. once i am in the crowds something picks me up till i am about fourty stories in the air and then it drops me i can always feel that sinking falling sensation. then i hit the ground and i wake up in an instant. what the fuck does all this mean i cant figure it out and it is driving me crazy!
Keep in mind that dreams are most often not about the details. The details, although they often happen to be interesting, are nothing more than trivial at best. What is most important in a dream is the overall feeling of it, what accompanies it in day to day life, and big THEME of it. This is what you should focus on if you are interesting in meaning.
