K2 smokers?

Anyone here smoke K2? (Those of you who don't know, K2 is a legal mixture of leaves that give similar effects of weed)

I just did for the first time and it was GREAT. Just like weed, only the high was much more intense for me.

 

Is that the same as that Spice Gold stuff?

 

It may be a type of K2, but I haven't heard of it if it is. I personally smoke K2 summit, and it's the best.

K2 Herb Is Getting Trouble In The Legal System
An herbal preparation containing synthetic cannabinoids has show up in Kansas, and a prohibitionist Kansas politician has a reflex response: Ban it. The preparation, sold under the name K2 Herb is available over the Internet and at selected shops in the Kansas City and Lawrence areas.

K-2 is one of a number of compounds that have appeared on the market in the past couple of years containing synthetic cannabinoids. Another popular compound containing the synthetic cannabinoids is sold under the name Spice. According to Clemson University chemistry professor John Huffman, at least one of those synthetic cannabinoids, JWH-018, was created by one of his graduate students doing pharmaceutical research.

Who manufactures K2 Herb, Spice, and similar products is unclear, as is where they are coming from.

Spice has already been banned by a number of European countries, including Britain, France, Germany, Poland, and Russia, as well as South Korea. While Spice, K-2, and other products containing synthetic cannabinoids are not listed as controlled substances in the US, there is some debate about whether they fall under the Controlled Substances Act's provisions banning analogues of controlled substances.

In an interview this week, Mast elaborated. Little is known about K2 Herb, she said. It's dangerous, she added, without explaining how she knows it is dangerous given that little is known about it. "And that makes it potentially dangerous," said Mast. "I'm really concerned about the effect it can have on young people."


Kansas state Rep. Peggy Mast (R-Emporia) had never heard of K2 before being approached by a local newspaper reporting on the phenomenon last week, but that didn't stop here from being ready to criminalize it. "I would be very happy to sponsor a bill to make this illegal," she said.


If there's one thing Mast does know, it's what to do when confronted with a substance about which you know little: Ban it. Mast sponsored successful legislation to do just that with jimson weed and salvia divinorum a few years ago. "I don't think the public should have ready access to anything that has not been studied," Mast said.

But until Mast gets around to introducing and passing a bill, K2 herb remains legal in Kansas. And places like Sacred Journeys in Lawrence are selling it.

"A lot of people get a marijuana-like buzz when you smoke it, and that seems to be why a lot of people are afraid of it and attack it," said Rob Bussinger, a consultant at Sacred Journey. "We have teachers that come in and buy it, we have police officers that come in and buy it, military people who buy it," said Bussinger.

For chemist Huffman, banning new substances is a futile pursuit. "You ban one and they'll come up with another," he said.

 

You can actually get it in virtually any tobacco store in TN, at least the town that I'm from, and they all sell varieties. I personally find the high much more strong than weed, and hey, for now (at least) it's legal WHOO TO THE LEGAL HIGHHHHHH!

 

Yeah my friend got some of the stuff, he said it's pretty much like weed. I'm probably going to go by my shop and pick some up since its only $40 for 3g's, which ain't too bad.

 

40 for 3 grams? Damn, here it's only 25 for 3, and that's for the best stuff!

tryin to figure out the K2 thing.... it's obvious that Summit is stronger than other "blends". Is there anywhere I can find detailed, specific info about potency of the various other blends relative to each other, like a scale or bar chart?

Also, the blends I knew about were: Basic, Gold, Citron, Pink, Blueberry, and Summit. There's somebody with an Amazon storefront selling something called "Premium Blend"... I like it. whussup wit that? It has what looks like the authentic K2 logo, although the packaging is not as flashy as the other ones I have seen. Anyhow, it has less of a punch than Summit, but it still work just fine. Nome thane?

Finally, anybody else out there experiencing a "next-day head"? I definitely get one from Summit, but less so with the Premium Blend. Thanks!

I tryed k2... Some european blend. It was a very intense high that lasted about 2 hours. I also had been smoking before I tryed k2 which I have heard fucks you up even quicker. I tools two hits then I was done, it sort of tasted like cinnamon.

I have also heard of strawberry, and blonde. I believe those were two blends that had not been mentioned yet. In Columbia, MO, you can buy it at several head shops, and I've beard that some adult stores sells it.

 

Since I have to take drug tests in rehab, I've been smoking something called Sunset Gold. It's like Spice Gold and I guess it's like K2, as well. It feels exactly like weed and gets me stoned as fuck. haha

It's fuckin expensive though, at $25 for 1g.

 

K2 contains JWH-018. I've tried Summit, Blonde, and whatever they call the Blueberry and Bubblegum blends. I much prefer it to weed and pretty much every way. Better, more clear headed stoned feeling. Strong, more potent, and lasts longer. Doesn't show up on tests as far as I know, I can get it from any headshop, and I don't reek of weed when Im done smoking it. Not to mention its incredibly smooth.

 

On this topic, does anyone know where Spice Diamond or Synergy can be found near OH/MI?

 

I think they have that at the smoke shop here but its called Black Magic or something, it says 18+-Incense-not for human consumption and they only take cash for it, but this dude that just started at my work says its just like weed, I doubt Ill buy any too sceptical, and I dont know if Id just start smoking some shit some pharmaceutical graduates made lol

 

That's. What they have at the headshops around here, black magic. Fuck all this shit, its blasphemy. It tastes so weird and smells good but oh so weird. Ill stick to my greenery.

 

Is it just me, or has anyone who's used K2 lost their "sex drive?" I've used it over the last 2-3 weeks, and I just find myself... different.

 

I can't believe how prevalent the idea that k2 is THE blend or something. Spice, as well as a load of other "herbal incense" brands, have been doing this for a few years now. The media ignorance is laughable. I wish I could remember the specifics. . . some county in some state outlawed k2. JUST k2. That means that any of the hundreds of other jwh-containing blends are still available there and that they have therefore accomplished nothing.

This is thanks to our lazy, mediocre, sensationalizing news media.

The jenkem fiasco is a much better example though.

By the way, I kind of think that k2 probably has jwh-073 in it, or perhaps one of the more obscure synthetic cannabinoids. I say this because i've tried it and the duration was notably short, which is consistant with jwh-073. 018 lasts a little bit longer than regular old marijuana and also has a vague but unmistakable unnatural/unhealthy feeling, and it is incredibly easy to "overdose" and have one hell of a panic attack on 018.

Because of the short duration, 073 seems more crack-like. You'll find yourself smoking it every 15-20 minutes if you start to use it often at all.

 

I've had the K2 Blonde and Pink. Not the summit though.

Personally, I prefer weed. Tastes better and gives you the best high.

K2 makes you high no doubt, but imo some of it tastes funky and the high is intense, its almost like a not quite so intense salvia trip.

 

Nope, there's no info, the makers want to keep this a mystery to stay in buisness longer, and because they're dishonest shits who don't care about causing changes in law that affect us all...

Not to mention it all tastes like SHIT, and smells obnoxiously strong even before you smoke it... And has all kinds of sketchy stuff in it for flavor, smell, look, etc... its the JWH we want, spray it on fucking mint leaves and label it properly...

 

I don't think it smells or tastes that bad. However the high doesn't stick around the more you smoke it. After smoking k2 for awhile bud smells so much better and you appreciate the high even more.
