A new colour

    can you even begin to imagine what a new colour would look like? I keep trying but I cant see it, probably because we can only perceive certain wavelengths of light or whatever, but imagine if aliens visited us and they perceived a different part of the light spectrum, they might not be able to see some of the things we do or they would perceive them in a very different manner

    i am pretty sure, that there has been research on this. no one's perception of a color is the same. we basically need guidance to know what a color is or to be able to perceive it and understand it.

    There were some dinosaurs that could see ultraviolet light. It helped them find prey due to the UV light reflecting off of creatures around them. I don't think it's possible to comprehend a color you've never seen before. It's like trying to describe a color we can see to a blind person.

    ^^^^ it's pretty interesting that some dinos saw in ultraviolet, it kind of makes me wonder if our vision will adapt more
