My husband wants to move back down there. In truth I do too, we're currently in Wigan Wigan is gay. What's wrong with MMU or Salford uni eh? :toetap05:

 

I suppose the weather down there is a damn site better than Manchesters top notch weather I used to go to Wigan quite often, weird. There's nothing at all wrong with them it's just the course i want to do is much better in Derby than it is at Salford or MMU.

 

I dunno, I'd expect the weather to be much worse actually. I feel so sorry for you having to come to Wigan. What are you doing at Derby? I bet it's something artsy

 

Really? I'd have thought it would have been better with it being down south. I really didn't mind going to Wigan never found it too bad i only went there to see my now fiancee so it was all good. But i must say that the so called "marble" used to annoy and confuse the crap out of me. I suppose it is an art of sorts i'm doing Live Event, Sound and Light Technology.

Derby's not actually that far from Manchester, I'd presume the weather would be worse because Manchesters protected from icy winds by the penines and what not.

Ye that big circle thing in the middle of Wigan, the "alternative crowd" in Wigan call it the marble and it's reeeally annoying.
I'd love to commute to Derby and stay in Manchester but even with a student railcard a return would cost around 30 quid every time i needed to get there so it would be pretty counter productive. Well i live pretty close to the Moors and it's bleedin' freezing lol.
Ye it's awesome but im thinking of taking a year out and traveling first. Howcome you didn't do it?

Well, I decided not to do it because I realised that jobs were few and far between in that industry and I didn't want to end up back at Tesco's after finishing. Not that I'm knocking the industry.

Good god it's like the most annoying place i've ever been apart from Urbis and that takes some beating lol.

I s'pose it would be difficult to get a job in that field but it would have been well worth it i bet it's really interesting.

Ye it's still open for business whether you'd wanna take your business there is a whole other question...IMO it sucks now. I used to go a lot but it's really mainstream now and full of prats.

Thankyou they're only lickle atm and shrinking still but i adore them.

 

Ahhhh I used to hang on Urbis. I didn't really like it much. Too pretentious and full of kids with horrific emotional problems trying to fuck each others egos. They make me cringe one time there was a wedding being shot there. The emo's tried to ruin it. Gimps.

Shrinkage is good! I like the plait.

 

Ye don't get me wrong i used to hang about there too back in the day but it was full of total fuckwits and violent morons. i went on about 3 months ago because my brother goes there every now and then and about 6 fights kicked off within about an hour and i just didn't see the point of ever returning.
Ye there's some absolute morons on there.

Ye the shrinkage has caused some really wild dreads one at the front has a sort of shark fin shape to it at the bottom it looks awesome. My fiancee put it in a while ago, i used to have normal hair at the front, so i left it in i think a part plait part dread would look quite kool.

Haha he was a bit of a douche and from what i remember really short lol.
I spend loads of time in cyberdog because i really close friend of mine works in there and Eastern Bloc is across the road and i always see him in there lol.

 

Yeah he was short. He was working at that fast food place five years ago... Ahh Cyberdog, I love Afflecks palace. But haven't been since I found I can get everything in there cheaper on eBay.

 

Seriously i only discovered he was there like 4 months ago? does the guy have no prospects whatsoever lol. It's brilliant in Cyberdog especially when you know everyone that works there and you get the occasional free piece of 60 quid clothing.
