Gone is the days when size zero was the expected norm to be a fashion model or to carry a sexy, ritzy look. Leaving behind noughties and heading towards a new decade, V magazine has broken the mold of skinny, chopstick shaped models and came up with notion that beauty comes in all sizes and shapes. V magazine has featured plus size models carrying an ultra sexy look, stylized by Nicola Formichetti.

Those are plus-sized women? Yeah, right! LOL The women in those pictures look like they wear a size 12, maybe a size 14, tops--and that's about what my mom wears! I mean, I'm glad that at least one magazine has woken up to the fact that you don't have to be anorexic to be beautiful (after all, who wants to look like a skeleton anyway?)--but if they want to use plus-sized models in the future, get some real plus-sized people--none of that size 12-14 crap! :) Peace!

I can't remember the Magazine title right now, but it was awesome...stopped production about 5 years ago..

My wife is a true size 16-18 (5'6", 40DD, ass to match) & there is NOTHING for her outside Lane Bryant... which is fine.. but still perpetuates the "flowered frock" & other styles. Kohl's has an occasional selection... but again.. its "tents" & crazy patterns... why can't a designer get it right & offer something contemporary, <gasp> trendy that is REAL SIZE flattering?

Sorry.. I am not into size 0-4, barbie-stick blondes with fake tits & patterned smiles... I want curves. So why wouldn't a clothing company make a line that inspires & flatters REAL curves?

the women in the OP post are HOT!!!!! show most of us real guys more of that!

I'd say this is definitely a step in the right direction. These women would be considered 'plus size' as they do appear to be over a size 14/16. However, they are definitely on the low-end of what a 'plus size' woman would be.

That being said, they are gorgeous, curvy, and are showing that fuller figured women can look super hot, and better (in my opinion) than some skinny models.

I like the one on the right in the first picture and the two on the right in the bottom picture.

The clothes in the top picture look very unsexy though.

They were still ugly and still looked like "fat clothes" (e.g. Lane Bryant)
That leopard print thing is damn foxy though.

Ah, okay, yeah the fashion industry sucks =P

I have mixed opinions on the models and the clothes, but I saved the picture of the one nude (even though I didn't like her in the one outfit she was in in OP =P)

lmao.... you said foxy. :p Haven't really used that word since I was in 7th grade.

Those girls are beautiful. Foxy even. I just like how healthy they look. Overweight, or underweight, or "ideal", healthy is the look we should be going for.

I never thought I'd ever see chubby fat bits on a model.

Very sexy, and so natural looking!
