Anyone totally in love with him? Their new album Big Whiskey and The GrooGrux King is awesommmeee discuss.
Honestly, never really was a fan because I never really listened to them, wasn't my type of music. But I've come to like a lot of new stuff in recent years and gave a listen to The Space Between song and a few others for first time and I liked it. Haven't heard the new album though. I'm new to them, so it's all new to me.
Well the newest album is a little different but it's got the same vibe as I get from any of DMB's albums so definitely give it a listen, it's worth it
I do not really like Dmb. I will admit they are good musicians with an occasional catchy song but just do not like the majority of the music. Boring, watered down jam band music. The only way I would see him live is for free which happens to have been the case the time I saw him, Have not heard the new album though.
Fair enough. If everyone liked them that means they'd be some shitty mainstream boy band so I'm kind of glad to hear it. Although free tickets going to someone who is not a fan is really lame. =\
Dude, I saw DMB twice in the spring and summer of 1994. The first time was opening for the Samples at the State Theater in Portland, Maine wich is a tiny ass venue. I saw them again in August on the HORDE tour with Blues Traveller and The Allman Brothers Band. Then in September MTV added "What Would You Say?" to heavy rotation. I am a fan but not giant. But I seem to watch this one video alot especially when I'm stoned: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNPLKapwbIM"]YouTube- SNL The Mellow Show This is one of my favorite songs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45mti6tAqac"]YouTube- Dave Matthews Band -The Dreaming Tree I've got to go get mellow. Peace Out, Rev J
lol i didn't mean to imply that you did. I was just saying... everyone shouldn't like them. It's a good thing. You have part of Elektrobank as your name title thingy. Clearly you like some decent music.
That's a good one. I don't think I could pick a favorite, there are so many. Maybe Jimi Thing but it's hard to narrow it down. Dancing Nancies is the song that converted me to a me to a fan. Grey Street is like he peered into my soul and turned it into a song. Both Rapunzel and Shake Me Like A Monkey makes me want to corner him in a dark ally somewhere, anywhere... in an o so good way. God I love him so much.
