Hmmm,, where exactly were you studying "Media" where it's all cool and original? I'd like to visit there to escape all the regurgitative tripe the media keeps passing off as entertainment.

Well that explains allot. But are you sure it's new, or is it just "new" in your perspective? Just saying I've kown many people to get into "new" trends only to see how it's merely derivative of something from the swing or beatnick generation, or some other long gone social fad.

 

They're original personality wise, not "trend" wise. If they're copying "trendy" personalities from times far gone, I don't care, they're still nice and interesting people

I dont hate my generation, I think that theres no collective mindframe as seemed to exist in older generations, years of subtle oppression has seemed to have produced a largely apathetic generation which sickens me...the generation themselves are for the majority lovely people, as far as my experience goes...Im lucky to live in a very open minded, alternative area with lots of cool as fuck people - old and young..socially wise theres not a lot of seperation between different generations

 

I'm of generation Y and I hate most of it and everyone of generation X as well.

Hating a group of people that seems as versatile as it can get (so pretty much hating any generation as a whole) seems pretty retarded to me.
