you would not want to drink a bottle like the one listed above becuase that one also contains guafenesin which will make you HORRIBLY nauseous (you don't want to experience it).

find a syrup or cough gels that have ONLY dextromethorphan as the active ingredient. ANYTHING else and its no good. good dose of DXM for your first time is 250 mg.

its effects are almost identical to ketamine, just lasts 3x as long.

Yeah, couldn't find the correct pic of a Robo DM bottle. The one's I've seen around here have a higher DXM to Guaifenesin ratio.

The first and only time I did it I took around 500mg of DXM. It's like being extremely drunk off your ass and not being able to do SHIT, gravitating to one side and what not. I heard you can hallucinate, but I didn't.

I'd just skip it all together to be honest.

 

robo dm over here contains guaf. you want either robo max strength which contains just dxm or delsym which also contains just dxm (and tastes better too).

hallucinations dont necesarily happen in the lower plateaus (although you can experience closed eye geometric patterns if you concentrate), but they do occur at higher plateaus.

out of body experiences can happen at higher doses too. i can speak from personal experience. 2000mgs under my belt haha


also, i am not trying to condone using dxm products with guaf but i should mention that guaf never made me sick. in fact the first time i did dxm, i took robo dm and didnt puke at all. in fact the only time ive puked off of dxm oddly enough is one of the times i did robo gels.

it should be noted that just because a syrup is pure dxm doesnt mean the person wont get nauseous. the taste alone can send some people running to pray to the porcelain god. if your concerned about getting nauseous from the nasty taste, try delsym which tastes pretty decent for otc cough syrup or take some robo gels (a whole bottle which is 20 pills should be good for a first time. this will be 300mgs)

 

i took hydrocodone syrup once that had guafenesin in it and for 8 hours after i was so nauseous i couldn't even drink any liquids or move. and i'm fairly experienced with opiates so don't tell me it was from the hydro.

some people might not be effected by the nausea, but some are. its best not to take the chance unless you want to take the chance to experience HORRIBLE nausea when your robotripping.

Seriously, DXM is perfectly fine so long as you aren't stupid about it. For example, you really really really don't want to get it with other active ingredients - but those gel pills that Canabilly has in his post there? Effective, cheap, and safe.

Go to erowid.org and do your research - don't just wolf down a whole bottle. DXM isn't really dangerous but can hit you pretty bloody hard if you aren't prepared. Once you know what you've got on your hands, it can be both a lot of fun and a very spiritual, dreamy trip(at least it was for me).

I had a trainwreck thanks to DXM once, and it was my own fault. The stuff is safe, but respect it.

Try writing like you have two brain cells to rub together - it'll at least give your "I know better" argument some legs. Also, DXM has never proved to have any manner of long-term effect. I'm going to guess you were referencing Olney's Lesions in your post - but they have yet to be connected to DXM use in any affirmative way.

i dont use dxm for an alcohol substitute anyway. i use it to trip. i've done acid and shrooms as well.
