What are you/have you been doing today?

all you need for mange is a sulfur dip, hdh. not too pricey. what are his symptoms?

today, i am at work. i skipped out to buy rompers at target. rompers that i don't need in 30 degree weather. later, the natural science center? dinner? thrifting?

 

Well we thought it was matted fur but it looks like scabby skin about 3 inches in diameter, it's on both sides of his abdomen. It's not bleeding or anything. my husband thinks it's very similar to a flea reaction one of our cats had a couple of years ago when we had a flea infestation.

Other than that it's hard to say what his symptoms are because he's his usual self except he looks like he's lost quite a bit of weight, For now we're trying worming and flea treatments I'm sure worms cause weight loss.

 

Attended a wonderful kindergarten valentines party. =) I had a blast. I have an apt at the bank in an hour and then it is olympic time!!!!

With two weeks to go (without an extention) for my essay, I have no idea what I want to write about. I'm thinking something with children and craft, or art therapy. I've looked for books specifically about children and craft teaching but there is nothing in my library, so I thought art therapy. But, with art therapy I have no dea what I want to ask.. i.e. the title question for the essay. I'm interested in how it helps the kids, but then I Would have to go into a whole load of psych jargon which would be too heavy for a 3k essay like this. Possibly I could look at that for my dissertation.. But meh. Any ideas anyone? Its art therapy/similar subject that could help my career, oorr something easy (research wise), like 'conceptual craft'. I prefer the art therapy tbh. GAH wracking my brains out

HDH: try spraying diluted Neem oil on the affected areas. This stuff works wonders on most skin ailments for dogs. I've used it to treat mange and hot spots with great success.

 

I once had a neighbour who's dog started to go bold because it was eating the glass fibre insulation out a hole in the wall. Thats probably a rather long sot.

Sympathy for lux also I ued g cold sores hen I was a kid but I haven't had one for 15 years + thank god.

 

dragonvine, i see this sometimes in crime drama shows where they will use drawings from a child to gain clues as to who/what/where something happened to them.

maybe you could write about how in the developemental stages of a childs life, maybe before they are fully capable of verbalizing their feelings or what is going on in their life, children can use art as a form of expression or language when their words might not be powerful enough to fully express the scene they create.

...or is that kind of what you were talking about you NOT wanting to write about? LOL

i totally forgot the olympics start today.

i started my day at work. then i got some cinnabon cheesecake.... mmmmm

i just started re-reading a book because my fiance is getting mad at me because i "read too much" and now i dont want to go buy a new book.

i wanted to read the helping friendly book... I still haven't read icculus!!!!

in like an hour i am going to go up the street to get a new tattoo. i'm getting the further bus on my back,


today i'm just doing the destination sign and maybe a little bit of outline, kind of a late appointment so we'll see how for i get.

 

Decay, thats the sorta thing art therapy is about, which is awesome I might have it as part of my essay, not as all of it- sorta concentrate on art and crafts with kids as a whole and look at the different sections, i.e. art therapy

I have been playing in the snow today now I am sooo tired. My moms a fucking weather nazi, I swear. She wont let me leave because the roads migh be icy. bleh. So I guess ima play some games with teh fams. About to eat a bowl of homeade veggie chilli and a grilled swiss cheese sandwhich omnomnom. Today is my fathers birthday. Next year he will be 50 holy shit it doesnt seem like it. Today is also ol Abes birthday ha.

lsa is a nice experience. top it off with a bowl or 3 (dependng on your tolerance).
if you do the extraction right, you shouldnt vomit. unless you are using crazy amounts of seeds.

i love when spooky things like that happen.

i remember like ten years ago i was on the phone with my friend, and she was telling me about this movie called momento (awesome movie!)
she was telling me how amazing it was and that i had to see it, and from the sound of it, i agreed.

anyway i go to sleep when i get off the phone with her. when i wake up there is an unopened, still in plastic copy of momento sitting next to my bed by my alarm clock. my brother went out and saw it and decided i needed to as well so he bought it for me.

 

today i'm shooting more of my burlesque Documentary, and not looking forward to it, i would rather be in bed
