Greetings! New member to the site, but am familiar to the family. I had my first gathering in Ocala a couple of years ago, and I found I didn't have a very good impression...way too many aggros. I know that not everyone is like that. I remember growing up, my mother was a part of the movement back in the 70]s and so this living was incorporated into my family from the beginning. I remember going to a couple of what i called "camp outs" but was too young to fully remember. Anyways, so when I went to Ocala a couple years back, I was thrown off. Trashing the Park, hardcore drug manufacturing/usage, tempers flaring, few volunteering being done. The vibe wasn't the same as I remembered...Anyways, maybe it was me, who knows?...The point is, I'm back- because who can stay away for too long, huh??? LOL. So, I'm giving it another go. Loving all.
