    SCI Announces Summer 2010 Incidents!

This summer The String Cheese Incident will perform a handful of “Incidents” including their greatest hometown venue, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, on July 23, 24, and 25, and then set up camp at Horning’s Hideout on July 29 through August 1. This announcement ends a three-year break from performing; a hiatus interrupted only once - this past summer- when SCI united to headline ROTHBURY 2009 for one incredible Incident.
Check out the LIVE INCIDENTS page for all the details.

SCI Fan Club tickets go on sale TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2010 AT 10:00AM MST!!!

I picked up 2 HORNING'S HIDEOUT 4-day tickets. If any cool heads want to meet up and kick it I'm totally down!! I'm from Long Beach, CA. Very reasonably priced tickets, and definitely don't miss out on the free downloadable "Cheese In The Trees (Best of Horning's)" or "Cheese On The Rocks (Best of Red Rocks)". When you buy a ticket for either show, you will get a promo code in your email from the band.

It is a code like "HSIFHRIEBIWNW334" and you go to www.LiveCheese.com/giftredeem.aspx to redeem it, if you don't already have an account you'll have to make one. Each code can only be redeemed once and you can download the show right after. They are both each over 100 minutes, I have only heard Cheese In The Trees, and it is an AMAZING FUCKING ALBUM that you CANNOT MISS OUT ON!!!!! So get if free while you can!!!

I'M SO FUCKING STOKED FOR HORNING'S HIDEOUT!!!!!!!!!!!
I got a great Incident recently, if you guys are looking for a good one, it is 2003/12/10 in Eugene, Oregon, and it was a Ken Kesey Benefit concert. Got the mp3 from LiveCheese for $9.95. It is pretty obvious that they are dosed and they play an AMAZING set. There is a "Kesey Story" narrated by Ken Babbs, and they cover so much Grateful Dead. Here's the setlist:

    Set I
    Intro (1:37)
    Shantytown (10:53)
    Freedom Jazz Dance (7:25)
    Search (6:24)
    Furthur Jam (2:08)
    Sweet Melinda (4:05)
    Prankster Jam (4:41)
    Sweet Melinda (1:19)
    Eugene Jam (1:16)
Sittin' On Top Of The World (4:35)
The Mighty Quinn (Quinn the Eskimo) (6:24)
    Desert Dawn (13:32)
    Set II
Kesey Story (5:13) (Narrated by Ken Babbs)
    Turn On Your Lovelight (2:19)
    Birdland (16:20)
    Sirens (7:13)
    Sand Dollar (13:36)
    Texas Town (8:04)
    Cow Ditty (1:07)
    Water (14:57)
    Restless Wind (14:15)
    Chatter (2:20)
    ENCORE
    Lonesome Road Blues (6:24)
    Dirk (14:11)
    Stop That Train (7:04)

    I Know You Rider (10:23)

I'm so sad, I missed out on Horning's, I don't know why I didn't think they were going to sell out in the first hour. Why wouldn't they? This is what I have been looking forward to since they broke up, I can't believe this.

If anyone for whatever reason has extra tickets, I'm willing to pay well over value at this point (and I mean WELL if need be to get me there, although it makes me quite upset I'm resorting to this). I really just need this experience in my life, if anyone can help me out, you'd be helping a Cheesehead and some good vibes make their way to Hornings. I need two, will settle for one. Thanks people. Also have every night of Red Rock's for trade too!

Don't resort to paying way over face yet buddy!

Hold off a little longer if you're going to pay high. The rumor is phish is playing red rocks that same weekend. If that's the case, many more tickets from fans will be available for around face.

SCI RED ROCKS>SCI HORNINGS>PHISH GORGE 3 weeks of bliss get you some summer lovin, see you freaks out there

    Good luck

I am going to be heading to Horning's from LONG BEACH/LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA. Just letting you guys know, in case someone was in need of a ride or something.

I would definitely want to get to know them first of course, however. I don't plan on catching the first day of Horning's (which is going to be Emmitt Nershi Band, EOTO, Kyle Hollingsworth, PRAANG, other SCIde projects), I am going to be using that day to drive up to Oregon. We will definitely be seeing ALL THREE DAYS OF CHEESE THOUGH!

Hornings is sold out, I haven't kept track of Red Rocks since getting my ticket but I'm 99% certain its sold out. But keep on the lookout on forums like these and any others you might know of with Cheese fans. Things come up all the time that makes tickets unaccounted for and the only way to be the guy whos there to buy it is to be active in your search.

As for price, you can expect as low as 150 for Red Rocks from a nice dude not trying to make a profit (For all 3 nights) but more likely 175-200. Hornings is 200 non-profit but again more likely 250ish at the point you'd be buying it.

    ^^^Krazy you'll be fine bro!

    two things
    1. wait until more summer acts announce. It'll shake things up. With the changing of the phish rumors to 2 nights Telluride and the Mile High MF, lots of SCI tickets will be free.

    2. Last cheese run in 2007, tickets for less than face were all over the lots at Red Rocks.

Can't wait to see you freaks!

Having no phish tour on the weekends of SCI will make it tougher ont hese tickets. But face for red rocks will be doable no doubt. keep the faith. You ever make it down from Vail and rage Denver?
