hmmm... i had a pretty good valentines day.

the girl picked me up at work... we got some frosties at Wendy's. Then later I stole some stuff from the store... got her a steering wheel cover and a key chain(i got serious points for kleptomania romance). Then we did it in the car, in the back seat, parked on a hill overlooking the city. And then we cuddled and watched stupid tv shows at my house.

I also sent her a giant inflatable ball in the mail. I think she'll get it tomorrow or tuesday. she likes to get mail, everyone likes getting mail(unless its bills).

heh. today was roses and stuffed french toast and walking the dogs to the river and making a hat and cardiology test and the all-star playoffs.

and my hair is starting to knot fo sho... and it's not even 2 weeks yet! yay!
in venezuela, valentine's day is called both "dia de amor" and "dia de bobos". so happy love day and happy fool's day everyone.

 

it's a quality that makes me good at what i do.

cant wait until tomorrow(well technically it is tomorrow here(12:35 am). i'm taking one of those 3 girls that i wrote the letters to out to lunch at the cafe i used to work at. except the owner relocated and has a bigger kitchen now. i cant wait to see how nice it is!

Had an awesome V-day. Hubby bought each of our 3 daughters a long stem rose and got me an orchid plant (my fave), the sweetest card and then we went out for dinner and dancing then back home for romancing...good times

We don't celebrate Valentine's Day. We did it the first year we were together, but it was kinda ruined by the very rude staff at the restaurant, but the day was kinda boring anyway. We just don't bother.

youd be surprised at what you can make with lavender, i had a lavender soda at a sushi bar onetime it was tasty.

 

me and my bf don't celebrate it either. like you, the first year we did, but he caught a sickness bug and i had flu! sexy.

 

my bloke took me to the zoo, it was a 4 month late birthday pressie. in 4 months time, im expecting a valentines pressie. ohhhhhhhh but he did get me a rose from a petrol/garage forecourt, cause it was cheap and he thought it was fake........

My hubs didn't even remember it was valentine's day until the day after. lol

I find it tough cuz we don't celebrate it, yet my mother and sister's do and insist on buying stuff for the kiddos. I let my mother, but specifically asked my sister to not get them anything and yet she still did. It annoyed me.

 

My husband usually gets me chocolates and flowers or something but not this year. Instead I got "shut the fuck up, stupid bitch, fucking idiot" majority of the day.

I got him a book and a card which I didn't give to him.

 

We Stopped doing the whole cards, chocolate and flowers thing. Last year we got a Hotel in Chicago and went to the Shed aquarium and just had an awesome day together. This year he got me some new fish for my Tank and they are awesome, and I got him a ten pack of all around the world beer at world market, thats what he wanted. Then we made sushi cali rolls, and tofu lo mien and had a nice dinner together. I love Vday everyone spends it differently.
