This game is pretty awesome, there is always something exciting happening the graphics are great, the joker is so funny this game is just classic. When I was little batman was my hero, if I played this back then I would have approved 100% also because you get to use your grappleing hook alot in it, and that was my biggest fantasy when I was little was to use that so yeah good game I approve of it now.
Yeah the only thing about this game is that the fighting is really easy like he's almost too good at it.
I know what you mean, the whole game is easy. But it is very good looking and the camera is graceful... that's a first in a Batman game. I shudder to think of SNES Batman.
Yeah thats like the only thing we can complain about. I can't really remember playing old batman games. But ya at least the game takes some thinking, its not always easy to figure out what to do, like right now I'm supposed to find some research documents in the asylum mansion, and I have looked throughout the whole mansion like 10 times its getting really fuckin annoying. Its pretty much the first time I have gotten stuck for more than 5 min and I have played a good amount.
I started playing it a few days ago, it kinda sucks 'cause I watched my brother play through it first.
Batman walks around like there's a shovel up his ass and the end boss fight is embarrassingly easy; but otherwise it's a fantastic game. Best superhero game ever, I think...and probably one of the best action games in a long time. Sequel looks solid - will apparently feature Two Face and Penguin in addition to Joker and most of the crew from the first game. It'll be all of Gotham City this time, not just the Asylum. But it's over a year away.
Best super hero game? Did you forget the Spider-Man games on Playstation 2? They harnessed a new and popular method of game play that runs consistent in 80% of games out there today.
I remember spiderman on ps2 I played that alot for sure. played it more on xbox though. I dunno its hard to say which game is "better" mabey better in different ways, like I am thinking spiderman had more of a dynamic gameplay mabey.
For the xbox or ps2, it doesn't matter. I think it was better. Graphics are the last thing on my list of what makes a good game.
I think actually I first played the ps1 version. That one was really fun to like set records on or something. Yeah pretty much alot of this batman game is being entertained by the movies and the unexpected events and the eye candy graphics, so comparing the two games is hard since they are different types of games.
Agreed. You are correct about setting the times on Spider-Man.. so fun... I think I want Spidey in my sig..
I liked the spiderman games, but felt Batman was just overall better. I'm probably biased a little toward the Batman world/character in general, though. I really, really enjoyed Spidey: Web of Shadows and think it was horribly underrated.
