people always talk about how they're scared of the pain before they die. but really, unless you are dying a horrible slow death of some sort, i think that you really wouldn't feel pain. A bullet for example, travelling so fast for your brain, would hit you and kill you before you even had time to realize it. i dont remember where i was going with this....but i wanted to write it down. and no, im not suicidal.
definitely comforting for alot of situations. but wouldn't you want to be able to tell the angels of your last, glorious moments on earth? hopefully you'll sound like a hero and get a golden blow job from one.
Yeah I wouldn't mind golden blow jobs myself from angels. Seems worth it. And yeah..... most people don't even know their dead. It just happens so fast they don't even see it coming.
Have you remembered yet where you were going with this thread because there's not a lot to be said for the advantages of sudden dead as opposed to a long drawn out painful one. Last dying wish possibly? Regret for not having accomplished something? Who you would like to spend your last moments with? I don't know. Now I'm just rambling.
To die quick or slow is in our fate, what I am concerned about is continuing to be vitally active in making such a statement on this earth, that even the wind whispers your name in an eternal eulogy. Regret comes when you have fallen and can't get up, too charge into the future. No, come to think of it that is the living dead.
Death is the ultimate peak of living. Nothing to be scared of, its what your parents conceived you for even tho it wasn"t their intention of your death...
there are so many different ways of looking at it. but if we didn't even know we were dying, like the bullet example, and felt no pain, then i find the idea kind of exciting. for lack of a better word. and i'm not suicidal either, just curious, i guess. "death makes angels of us all and give us wings where we had shoulders smooth as ravens claws." “People fear death even more than pain. It's strange that they fear death. Life hurts a lot more than death. At the point of death, the pain is over.” just reminded me of those jim quotes. thought id share
How can you be so sure? In all probability, you are right but what information do we have to support it? We have no idea what pain we would go through from a bullet through you're brain because most people haven't lived through it to let us know. I have contemplated suicide more than once. I guess the fear comes more from not knowing what will happen after life. Does things just stop for you (what I think) or do you move to another plane of existance? No one know because no one has come back to tell us.
