i don't think it's normally like that they think the oddly high temps have something to do with the oddly low/general bad weather in the mid-atlantic states... EL NINO!!!
yeah really...I took an american cheque of about $63 to the bank today and got back $65 and some odd cents.
Yep- pretty rude awakening for fellow Americans who assume the all mighty US dollar trumps everything. Well guess what... its value is about to be eclipsed by our friends to the north! Maybe that'll bring more Canadians into the United States for a visit. I like Canadians... they have class... and hockey!
Heck with that, the Canadian dollar actually was worth more then the US dollar for a while about 2 years, but we showed them who's boss *smug face* Besides, everyone knows the real money is in Euros That is unless Greece completely ruins it for everyone else.
I must confess not having kept tabs on the dollar vs dollar marathon... even when I had extended cable the financial tickers only included yen, euro, pound, franc, deutsche mark...
Germans be paranoid, I read Germans are still holdings up to $15 billion in deutschemarks in their homes, doing the math out that's about $180 for every single man, woman, child and fetus in the country.
