i posted about 8 months ago a pic of my freshly backcombed instalocks. well they lasted a little less than a month before my stubborn hair worked its way completely loose and was back to basically normal. so the hours of backcombing did nothing really. so i said screw it and let my hair do what it wants. i couldn't be happier with the results! it's pretty rad feeling around and noticing a small tangle grow and grow.
I attempted some of that backcomb stuff and they have fallen out and stayed out for the most part, so letting it go is more efficient in my opinion. Very nice

I can't tell you how many times I've heard "so yeah I backcombed and it all fell out and now I'm just letting my hair do it's thang" .....I totally said it. I did.
