I killed another one tonight. and it looked like the one I killed the other night.

I hate seeing spiders. It makes me mad cause WHERE do they come from?? They show up outta nowhere.

Then they crawl really fast to get away and little fuckers are ugly as sin.

Theres a spider on the side of our house that chills in the summer. I dont know if its still alive but i named him, Steve.

    meet Steve,..

"steve" spiders show up at my parents' house about once every couple years. my mom told me they were banana spiders, but i just googled banana spiders and got something completely different, so i don't really know what steve is.

i don't think they're dangerous, just because i don't think there's any dangerous spiders that naturally live in this area.

spiders are one of the uglier living things i've come across. they do sometimes come out of nowhere, but it's probably even worse when you find a nest of babies and you see where they come from and watch 100 of them spreading out around the house...

Yeah my dad told me it was a banana spider also but I dont believe they get that big. this one has really long legs. Ill do some more research on it

and that actually happened once (finding a spider with babies)

It turned out to be a Funnel web spider

    http://www.uiweb.uidaho.edu/so-id/entomology/funnel web male spider.jpg

all I remember is picking up an old old toy behind the toy box and I see a huge black spider standing up and all the babies scattering. I screamed and ran ( was 8 at the time) and my dad took care of it lol ugggh

AND I believe i found it..

    A Garden spider

The garden spider is very harmless to people. There are many kinds of garden spiders. The Garden Spider hunts first. It stays very still in the middle of the web, unless it is frightened. It stays in the middle of the web until a fly flies into it. As soon as this happens the garden spider goes to catch its prey. Some garden spiders close their eyes and when a fly flies into their web they would feel the vibration of the movement and catch the insect. The garden spider eats flies and other insects. It builds an orb web.

Giant brown hairy spiders where I live, see one probably every day in the house, got used to them really. The outside of my house is covered in banana spiders, honestly cool creatures. As long as they aren't one....or I feel like they are looking at me... I don't care about spiders.
Used to be terrified though, to the point of crying in fear and such.

I don't like them on me, but if its on the wall or ceiling I leave them alone,I don't think its right to kill them, maybe put it on a tissue and throw it outside. They are part of the ecosystem, without them the word would be full of flies and stuff.Personally I cant bring myself to kill them.

spiders are innocent. humans are nasty. by this is meant that humans exercise the option of choosing to be, while spiders are no more nor less then innocently doing what comes naturally to them. and by that i don't think humans are naturally nasty either, but rather a great many have convinced a great many others, for a number of false reasons, that we are or need to be.

I like spiders. They generally stay in the corners minding their own business and kill all the annoying flies and beetles that buzz around pissing me off.

I love spiders! As long as they're outside! I used to kill them when they came inside, but now i appriciate them for what they are. They are necessary.

So now when i see them inside, i catch em and put them outside. :)

Unless it's a black widow! They need to stay far away from me.

If you place conkers around the house, you wont get spiders , I know it sounds weird but it works, for some reason spiders don't like them.

I don't think we have those in Arizona.

How far apart do you place them?

  15. Balqis, that really is weird. I will have to check that out. At least I know what a conker is. Should we keep the rest of them in the dark? Our wee secret.

Spiders produce thousands of spiders each day so im not too worried about killing one lol

I had them fall in my hair, scare me when they hang down, stand up at me, jump at me, so Imma gonna curb stomp any spider lol

and those conkers look scarier than the spider

The spider species Argiope aurantia is commonly known as the Black and Yellow Garden Spider, Writing Spider, Banana Spider or Corn Spider. It is common to the lower 48 of the United States, Hawaii, southern Canada, Mexico, and Central America. They have distinctive yellow and black markings on their abdomens and a mostly white cephalothorax. Males range from 5 to 9 mm; females from 19 to 28 mm. Like other members of Argiope they are considered harmless to humans.
