I can't believe that Sarah Palin is so pissed about this. Sunday's Family Guy featured Chris going on a date with a girl who had Downs Syndrome. When Chris asked the girl what her parents did she replied, "My dad's an accountant. And my mom is the former Governer of Alaska." It was truly amazing to me that they never made a single joke on the show about the charachters Downs Syndrome. Honestly I think that the Family guy is great about dealing with disability. I think that it is the only show on tv right now with a disabled character. And on top of that they include the disabled character in all of their activites and treat him as an equal. But when I see Sarah Palin Going after The Family Guy all I can think of is Dan Quale going after Murphy Brown. Peace Out, Rev J

Considering the whole election is just a big fake joke anyway; I honestly hope with everything I've got that Palin is at least a candidate for the next circus. Hell, maybe she's even the next chosen figurehead. That chick is so stone cold retarded that I almost feel bad. Like when you make a Michael J Fox joke. But then you just laugh and laugh instead.
But like I said I can't help but think about when Dan Quale went after Murphy Brown. After it started almost every episode of Murphy Brown contained at least one Dan Quale joke. I think that The Family Guy would be more merciless and rightly so. But I find it hilarious when political figures attack fictional charachters. I read a news article about the girl who did the voice, and she actually does have Downs Syndrome. She sent a letter to a news website saying that she doesn't know why Sarah Palin got so pissed. She says she thought it was funny, and should be taken light-heartedly. She also goes on to say how sad it is to see how Palin carries around her son for sympathy and votes, like it's another fashion statement and not an actual baby. Sad.

I find it amusing that Sarah Palin thinks we care what she thinks she was good at what she was before. She was good at being a small town mayor with small time values. But when it came to the real world she didn't have a clue. She just needs to fade back to Alaska and shut it.
