I'm going on a foriegn exchange to Ecuador for a year, I leave in august. I was planing on cutting back smoking, but not stopping.

But then I found out that the penelty for bud is...

20 years is jail. (well, that's the max, the min is 3 years for possesion, and the averege is 16 years)

like seriously though, Jesus Christ.

So I guess I'm gonna stop smoking for a year, but on the upside the drinking age isn't enforced at all, and they never card you. Also, apparently ecuadorian teens are going through the "sexual revolution" we went through in the 60s...

But it's gonna suck to not smoke for a year

 

I guess you're just gonna have to order some JWH or something.

Whether you're getting stoned or not, it will still be an awesome experience

But me and some friends already decided that when I get back we're gonna go camping with an ounce or two and a few hits of acid.

 

I've been on 7 or 8 I think? It ain't so bad.Well I took a hit 2 months ago and got high just off that haha.

sounds awesome man! definitely worth not smoking for a year. it does suck though.
if you really wanted to, maybe you could get a synthetic substitute, or maybe you could trip a couple of times.

i think i might go on a cruise or to an all inclusive resort sometime soon. i wanna take some L with me and trip on the beach in the tropics.

Id love to go to Ecuador, Im going to Nepal for year though, plenty of monks smoking hash on the mountains according to my friend there. He spent a week at a monastery after his friend died, they had no electricity there and grew their own food and weed, they would just meditate all day in the countryside smoking chillums

 

If i could go to some awesome country i would stop.

Its a South American country.. like any country outside the CONUS. Any actions can lead to imprisonments.. much like any action can lead to imprisonment in the conus..
Id be more concerned about being kidnapped by drug cartel, held for ransom cause youre an american citizen..

Remember the law on the books isn't how it's always practically enforced. Most South American countries are actually taking a more liberal view of weed then America does to deal with the cocaine problem and other larger social issues.
