Ok, so the other day I got some weed, rolled a nice big joint, and went to a movie. I didn't even get that high. Like, it was ok, but nothing special. Yesturday, I smoked about half of what I put into the joint (it was a big joint, and I had to be around athority figgures) out of a bowl and got high as fuck, it was the same stuff, and I got waaay higher. Am I rolling bad joints, (my friends say I roll pretty good, and I honastly don't think this is the issue) or do you lose more thc from joints than you do from bowls? (Btw, I didn't have the bowl on me today, so I rolled a joint, and again, nothin special.)
Thats why I usually smoke joints when I want to do responsible or body/mind enhancing activities. It gets me high enough to enjoy it on that level but not too high to where it interferes. I've always had this theory: When you smoke a joint, you smoke through, tap the ash off, continue. When you smoke a bowl, everything remains. You're re-lighting the ash, which must contain more THC that gets discarded in joints. Plus I guess you're taking bigger, all pot hits, as opposed to slightly harsher pot/paper hits. My two cents
I find that I take bigger hits from a bowl, which might be the case in getting more stoned but theres also been times when I smoked half a joint and was surfing through the ethereal realms.
if you roll a loose doobie, more smoke is going to be wasted off the end. and if you're smoking a joint alone, there is more time when it's just burning away, than if you smoke a bowl alone. a whole joint should be able to get you very high. but it's always been my theory that if you take the same amount of weed that you would roll a J with, and pack it in a bong, you will get MUCH higher, or save some weed. i guess that might apply for a bowl
Bongs and pipes are more efficient for me, but for some reason they lack a certain "stoned" feeling I cam only get from jays.
I don't fuck with joints anymore. They are convenient and all, but they are too much bullshit to deal with. My joints always come out looking perfect, but being able to tell if they are going to burn smooth is unpredictable and I don't like that. I'd rather smoke a blunt or a bong/bowl, where I know I'm gonna get a good burn session in.
I never had a problem like you're describing. ever. Maybe you're right - you suck at rolling joints. Good weed is good weed.
When I smoke a perfect j, i can take monster hits cuz it hits sooo much more smoother then a bowl. jack herrer + hash in joint = heaven (with some hash brownies to top it off)
As I understand from a study I read once that Joints are the least effective way for the THC to get into your system. Personally, I love the idea of rolling a joint and smoking one. It's just classic. So, this study said, and I am just putting in numbers that were close to what I remember. It said that a joint was 40% effective, a bowl or pipe was like 60% and a bong was like 80% with a vaporizor coming in at like 95%. This was for the THC levels. So, yes, joints are not as effective as smoking a bong or using a vape but I still love them. Even though I do consider them a waste of weed.
I cant roll joints for shit. But again i never had my own weed, i practice with tobacco. The highest i ever got was off a Bong. But then again I usually get so stoned i cant tell the difference. I picked up smoking again just in the last 4 months, and its not very often. i mean like 2-3 weeks between smokes. Good weed + joint = good high alright weed + joint = not so great bad weed + joint = shit Thats what i know.
