I had never met a real hippie until last fall at a barter fair and from that weekend on i knew that hippies were my kind of people. I'm an aspiring animator (self taught) and an avid herb smoker in search of a muse. I aspire to create a site for my animations and somehow make it profitable so that i can make my 9 to 5 something that allows me to be creative and actually enjoy work. I have a feeling the art section is going to be my new home for awhile.
...ever use a cine camera? Wrong forum...this is a militant anti herb site. Ever thought about idents: http://idents.tv/blog/ I also found out that in 1986 the three leading London Graphics companies at the time were offered £60000 just to pitch for the BBC1 & 2 idents http://worldofidents.blogspot.com/
you're not likely to meet many "real" hippies here either, but this place does serve a purpose anyway.
i guess that would all depend on your definition of a "real hippie". The term doesn't hold the same meaning as it did in the 60's (atleast i dont think so). There do seem to be alot of open minded people here mindful of the impact their actions have on the world, many with an intent to improve or at the very least not make it worse. How about modern hippies?
