So I had plans with a few friends to do acid at my place. Once we finally got a connect for acid, one of them blabs to one of his friends who thinks acid will make you suicidal. I read the conversation between my friend and his friend. It went something like: Hey, wanna do acid with us? We're getting it soon. Dude wtf acid is dangerous No it's not Yes it is, I know lots of people who took acid once and then went crazy. If you want to do new drugs, I can get you perks. They are way safer. Honestly, when I read the part about perks, my jaw dropped. Anyway, my friend is apprehensive about doing acid now because he doesn't want his friend to be mad at him. I don't really understand the problem but the ignorance is getting in the way of happiness.
i know a bunch of people who are like that... they think acid is like horrible for you... i actually had a few friends say they would do coke or heroin over acid (these are also people who have never done any drugs other than weed and alcohol...)
I dont think its dangerous i just think its a holy fuck i wanna think about this situation called life for a extended period time than normal and then being like holy fuck i thought about life for that amount of time, how many questions did i ask? lol.....I think its like a neccessary part of life..Go for it man.
I love acid and shrooms. But I wouldn't recommend them to everyone. Some people just don't want to do a certain drug. Get off your high horse and let people make up their own minds.
Yeah my brother is the same way. He had people convince him that taking it once will fuck you up. So sad considering I think he would really benefit from it.
imagine all the brain cells you lose from listening to stupid people.. . Yalls need to start freaking out around them..
im not dissing people for not wanting to do something, its their decision... its just when people say things like "i'd do heroin or coke before acid because it's safer"... like they should at least do some research before they make up shit like that
It's not that I tried to prove him wrong. I let him believe whatever he wants but he doesn't do the same thing. He's trying to convince my friend not to do acid because it will melt his brain. We're going to do it regardless of what he thinks but he's still going to freak out about it. It's not like I want him to do it, I just want him to know that he's wrong and should learn about the drug before buying into bullshit.
I think LSD is one of the safest psychedelics imo. As for "freakin out", thats a behavioral problem, not the drug.
Well, talk to him about it but don't get pushy - he needs to have a good mind state about the Acid if he wants to try to ensure a good time.
Woah, this is really sad. LSD is a huge responsibility, but it's NOT a hard drug. It's a soft drug. It barely even stays in your body, meaning you continue to trip once the drug itself goes to your waste. It acts as a key to serotonin receptors and unfilters the senses. I recommend you make him watch the National Geographic documentary "Inside LSD". It's really informative, and I learned a number of new things. Unfortunately, it got taken off YouTube. There's also the BBC one, "LSD: The Beyond Within". But yeah, definitely take it and prove him wrong.
lol the national geo show tought me alot i want to pay 300 for a session out in the words. but im gonna have to find the bbc one i have the national on my dvr but i havent seen the other one link?
That's just how it's always gonna be. Most people think alcohol is safer than marijuana, as well. I for one know that if my parents ever caught me, they would be less hard on me if I was drinking a beer than if I was smoking weed.
My parents are the same way. They are fine with me drinking because they know I'll act responsibly and yet I'm sure they would be pissed if they knew I smoked. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zzq_sBsjbAU&feature=related"]YouTube- LSD - The Beyond Within [Part 1 of 9] I think that's the one your talking about. I was looking for the nat geo one but I couldn't find it.
Yeah, as I said, the other one got taken off YouTube, but one can still download it through RapidShare or by torrenting. There's a also an official site for it with clips and info. http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/series/explorer/4094/Overview The only thing I disagree with about these documentaries is that they regard everything one sees under the state of mind LSD provides as "hallucinations", although the National Geographic documentary still took a big step calling the drug a "psychedelic" and not a "hallucinogen", despite the above.
