    Who here likes em? :D i shore do.... now many of you people prolly will say "i've never heard anything by them". YES YOU HAVE!!! you HAVE heard so many things (esp. "house of the rising sun") but you just don't know it's by them!! :D so go, my children, and download!

    but there were heaps of great bands from the UK in the 60s! Not only the animals.

    I like some of the Aussie bands too, Like the Easybeats. IOf you ever have a chance, give them a listen

    the animals are good.

    really there are two animals bands. there are the animals who did house of the rising son, etc.

    then there is the band eric burdon did afterwards, who did songs like "sanfancisco nights". the New Animals - who were more hippy!

    the animals were one of my musical influences!

    Dlans "rising Sun" is better caus ethe song is acctuall about what it is supposed to be about...

    haha, burbot, you mean about the whorehouse? :D i haven't heard his version... a whole shitload of people did that song. it was an old english ballad. :D don't ask how i know :p

    eric Burton sings it frm the point of view of a man singing to a woman i think, or maybe just about him, but dylan sings it as a woman, its off his first album if you want to know...

    'Sky Pilot' by Eric Burdon & The Animals is one of my favourite songs from the sixties
