The night before last. I was pregnant, and I realized that I had to get an abortion because I am not ready to raise a person. So I went to a planned parenthood which was outside in like a park and was waiting in an abortion line, and it was the longest line ever and was hardly moving and I didn't want to have to stand here and think about the fact that I was getting an abortion forever. And I kept running into people who were disappointed in me for getting pregnant. It was freaky.

lol, that sounds like a pretty trippy dream. it could be somewhat foreshadowing future events. who knows.
it might be foreshadowing pregnancy or maybe just a representation that you feel like something in your life is happening and it seems like it will never change. try dream meanings, look up key things like pregnancy and waiting in lines and the feeling of anxiety that you felt in your dream. :)

I think the meaning is a lot like most of my dreams. I am just really worried I will fuck things up. Usually it is shorter term things like missing an important test, but this just seems like a magnification of that. I am worried I will do something that will impact my life forever. I have also been especially worried about others opinions of me lately so i think that has a large role too.

Emma, you shouldn't worry about the opinions thats otherpeople have of you. People will differ their opinions all the time for everyone. You need not worry, you are who you are and do how you do and thats your jam to mess with.
As for being afraid that you might screw something up, thats another worry you should put to rest. If your so afraid that you will screw something up, you might actually screw something up. You just need to let your guard down and live freely. Anything that you MIGHT screw up intentionally or non, is just one of the many bumps in lifes long-hauled road. The key is to have little worry and just make sure you keep a roof over your head food on the table and some change in your pocket. That and your sanity is all you need.

Haha, I know that I shouldn't worry what others think and I shouldn't worry about failing. But these things are things I mostly ignore in my everyday life, so I suppose they appear in my dreams instead. In everyday life for example, I mostly ignore my fear of failure or use it to my advantage. The fact that I am afraid of doing bad just reminds me that it is something I care enough to want to do well in... So it sort of just makes me try harder to do well. So anyway. Yes I have some weird dreams which don't always have positive meaning, but I try to make the best of the things I can control (in my waking life). In the book "Animal Dreams" by Barbara Kingsolver, she says "In order to have sweet dreams, you've got to have a sweet life." And I try to make my life a pretty sweet place I think.

    oic :)
like you bottle up the subtle stress? i do the same thing but the bottle explodes when i drink too much. hahaha my dreams dont involve that stuff that i would flip out about though.
maybe you need more closure on that kind of stress, like more of a difference between eustress and distress.

I don't know. It doesn't impact my life that deeply so I'm not to worried. When I dream about missing tests and whatnot sometimes it isn't even my fault. It's like I do all I can to get there in time and thing after thing gets in my way till I have missed it. I am not to worried about this fear though. It just shows that I care about the things I do in my daily life to worry that they will not work out well.

I don't want children and I often have dreams where I find out that I am pregnant when it's already too late, so I have to have the baby. I once had a dream that I was queuing in line to be given a baby
